-Najavljen novi liderski tim: unapređenje Mohameda Al Bulukija u izvršnog direktora za saobraćaj, imenovanja Robina Kamarka u komercijalnog direktora i Ibrahima Nasira u direktora za ljudske resurse i organizacioni razvoj, predstavljaju deo novog snažnog rukovodstva od sedam direktora

Abu Dabi, UAE, 3.7.2018. – Etihad eviejšn grupacija (Etihad Aviation Group - EAG) je najavila novu organizacionu strukturu i operativni model, aktivan odmah, kako bi sprovela svoj mandat dok započinje sledeća faza transformacije. Reogranizacija je sledeći korak u omogućavanju sposobnosti grupacije u napredovanju u kompaniju usredsređenu na ljude, a koju pokreću inovacije, bezbednost i održivost, podržavajući viziju budućnosti Abu Dabija.
Prema novoj strukturi, grupacija će se reorganizovati u sedam poslovnih sektora - Operacije, Komercijala, Održavanje, Popravke i remont (MRO), Ljudski resursi, Finansije, Usluge podrške i Transformacija, na čelu sa novim izvršnim rukovodećim timom koji će odgovarati generalnom direktoru grupacije Toniju Daglasu (Tony Douglas), koji takođe preuzima odgovornost za Etihad ervejz.
Predsednik Upravnog obora Etihad eviejšn grupe Nj.E. Mohamed Mubarak Fadhel al Mazrouei je izjavio: „Dok se približavamo našoj 15. godišnjici, reorganizacija i restrukturiranje grupacije i rukovodećeg tima će nam pomoći da postavimo temelje Etihada za optimizaciju njegove vrednosti kao vodeće svetske grupacije, modernizaciju funkcionisanja i iskorištavanje mogućnosti, omogućavajući fokus poslovanja na poboljšanju osnovnih operativnih performansi. Zabeležili smo poboljšanje u našim operativnim rezultatima za 2017. i uvereni smo da smo ove godine na dobrom putu, jačajući našu poziciju u celoj grupaciji posle konsolidacije, podstičući naše prisustvo na ključnim svetskim tržištima i nastavljajući podršku rastu Abu Dabija u sektorima vazduhoplovstva, trgovine i turizma.“
Peter Baumgartner će sada biti Viši strateški savetnik Tonija Daglasa u sastavu izvršnog rukovodećeg tima. Nakon što je od 2016. godine kao generalni direktor upravljao Etihad ervejzom, Baumgartner će biti savetnik na nivou grupe o globalnim partnerstvima i inovacijama.
Izvršni potpredsednik za komercijalne poslove Etihad ervejza Mohamad al Buluki (Mohammad Al Bulooki), unapređen je u izvršnog direktora za saobraćaj i biće odgovoran za ključna područja uključujući poslovanje mreže, letačke i tehničke poslove, flotnu tehniku, bezbednost i sigurnost vazdušnog saobraćaja, kao i Etihad erport servisiz (Etihad Airport Services) koja upravlja teretnim saobraćajem i zemaljskim opsluživanjem i keteringom. On je takođe odgovoran za pilotsko i kabinsko osoblje aviokompanije.
Robin Kamark je imenovan za komercijalnog direktora. Etihadov program za transformaciju doneo je merljive rezultate do sada, pri čemu je glavna filijala aviokompanije nedavno prijavila poboljšanje od 22 odsto osnovnih operativnih performansi za 2017. godinu, koje su pokrenuli poboljšani prihodi od 6,1 milijarde dolara i smanjenje jediničnih troškova za 7,3 posto.
