QL mythology

Honestly, critics are such idiots.  Okay, I rarely agree with them, but if you check out rotten tomatoes, half of them panned QL, because of how it’s handling it’s connection to the original show.   Spoilers under the cut.

THEY COULD NOT BE MORE WRONG.

Janis Calavicci being bitter, because she wanted to follow in her father’s footsteps?  Maybe, maybe not being a ruthless bad guy??  SWEET.

Magic being the soldier that Sam Beckett leaped into, when he saved his brother Tom and now heading the Quantum Leap project??? PERFECT.  I was close to tears, when he was talking to Ian!  

Ben intentionally leaped, contrary to plan in order to get to a particular time.  Yes, that is a mystery I’m willing to see dragged out over a season or two!   That is something worthy of a slow reveal, while we see Ben helping people and how it affects him and how he sees the world!   

The possibility of Sam Beckett finally making it home, the thing I HATED about the OG QL finale!  :D  

PLUS: 

Everything about Addison is beyond wonderful.  She’s conflicted, angry, forgiving, suspicious, trusting and complicated.  Her feelings are so HUMAN.  Her love for Ben just shines and it’s beautiful, without compromising her strength.  She’s strong enough to love when it is HARD.  

Female villains!   Strong, boss ladies choosing evil, because women are human and they do that sometimes!
