Preserved perfumes belonging to the last Imperial Family
I have labelled who each bottle belonged to. A case of Maria's favourite perfume 'Lilas Pourpre' was also donated to the museum, but not pictured here.

AOTMA's dogs in exile
The Romanov's were a family of animal lovers (dogs, cats, elephants - Olga Alexandrovna had a tamed wolf, and there is also mention of a bear, birds and fish.)
When the royal nucleus of the family was exiled (imprisoned), the children were able to take some of their dogs (Jemmy, Anastasia's dog; Ortipo, who was Tatiana's dog, and Joy, Alexei's spaniel.) I am sure the pets were a great comfort to the family.
Joy was the only one who survived the massacre of the family. He was found by a soldier who recognized him and lived out his days in England. Jemmy died with Anastasia and Ortipo was found after the massacre and bayoneted. Some sources state that Jemmy's and Ortipo's fate were reversed.
These pictures are not new but they are beautifully colorized. I hope you enjoy them and visit my new blog:

hi! first of all, happy 410th anniversary since the romanov dynasty started to rule over russia! second of all, i hope you have a marvellous day! thrid of all, do you perhaps have photos of olya and mashka with these? they don't have to be colourized
hi!!! Happy anniversary to you too!!! I hope you have the best day ever too!!
these photos were taken in 1915 when AOTMA (Alexandra and OTMA) visited one of the many war hospitals in Russia during WWI. When I first saw these photos I originally thought that they were cropped versions of this
But I realized that they were different so I did some more digging and thought that this might’ve been something
But Olga and Tatiana were wearing their nursing uniforms in this one so I checked again and found this
This is just Tatiana and Anastasia and your looking for the opposite. But the last two photos look like they were from the same day so I will do more digging.
I found the group portrait of the photo above
I don’t know why Maria is not in this photo because she was in all of the photo sessions on the same day.
Here is a cropped version of just Olga
And i will crop Maria from the other photo that isn’t the exact one but is the same outfit as the others.
Thank you and i hope this helps!!!
