What does it say about America that after Budweiser sponsored a transgender influencer, its sales dropped by 25%?
Would America have responded this severely if it were a influencer?
Anyway, I’m sure sales would bounce back. You can only have so much beer with flavor. Bud Light is for guzzling. Cheers!

AB-inBev's Low-Quality Beer is Not Worth the Hype
As someone who enjoys a good beer, I have to say that AB-inBev’s low-quality beer is not worth the hype. It’s disappointing to see how much advertising goes into this product when the taste is just not there. As soon as you take a sip, you’ll notice that the beer is overly carbonated and tastes flat, lacking any distinct flavor. It’s not even a beer that you can drink casually with friends, as it…

Class 5: perception versus quality, Corona's case
How much of wine consumption is perception versus actual quality?
I would argue that most wine consumption is about perception rather than actual quality. This is most likely the case in most products, especially in products like wine, where the quality attributes are subjective.
I would make a parallel with one case we saw a couple of weeks ago: Corona. I worked as a brewer in a Corona factory before my studies. There, I received training to be able to taste beer. This required both theoretical, and practical trainings that accounted for many hours of work to be able to identify the basic quality attributes of the brands we manufactured. This is most likely more than any regular consumer would be likely to invest.
Even then, our objective from a manufacturing standpoint was not to make the best beer in every batch but to achieve a consistent beer across batches. That is, the objective was to make every Corona in the world taste the same so that the consumer experienced a uniform experience when consuming the product.
Consider this: Corona is still not considered a premium beer in Mexico and is priced as the cheapest beer in AB InBev's portfolio. This is because the brand's market position was established prior to its internationalization, and the company has been unable to change the customer's perception to match its international marketing as a premium, high-quality product.

"I'm proud to announce we are back in business together. There are many reasons why I chose to go with Anheuser-Busch and Bud Light, most importantly because I feel we are very aligned when it comes to our core values and what the UFC brand stands for. I'm looking forward to all of the incredible things we will do in the years ahead," UFC CEO Dana White said, according to the press release.
Interesting. I bet Dana got a hell of a deal AND locked them into no future foolishness or the contract is null.
So much for Bud light branching out from the “frat boy image”. What a colossal marketing (intentional) failure.
