Midoriya promptly choked on his own spit and began coughing and sputtering, tears in his eyes as he hit the floor, where he had fallen after hearing that question. Todoroki just looked down at him, not wanting a repeat of what happened earlier.
“Midoriya?” He asked.
“How did you know?!” Midoriya shouted, looking at Todoroki like he was some sort of omniscient being. Maybe he was…"

And yet, when this new tutor asked Shouto to write his name on the top of the paper when he turned it into her, since she tutored more than only him, he stared at her like she was crazy.
She urged him to write his name again, quickly becoming worried when he still didn't move a muscle. He was typically so obedient in class, and even Shouto could tell that she was beginning to freak out a little, but he didn't know what to do. What if he did the wrong thing again and she went crazy, poured boiling water on his face, and was sent away to the mental hospital for the rest of her life?
“Hiragana is okay,” she assured, not getting what he was struggling with. He had no way of protesting, though. Father always said that if he didn't listen to something the tutors said, he would feel it the next day in training.
Shouto threw up that day and most certainly did not want to throw up again the day after—he was already plenty exhausted and ready to drop.
So, Shouto listened to her, writing out in his perfectly neat hiragana characters, perfected by hours of practice and the occasional harsh scolding from his father.
Ke-ssa-ku. Masterpiece.
