the be-1 is amazing and i love it but my heart does lie with the pao. be-1 is a close second though and i honestly like the styling of it more. i just have a soft spot for the pao, i think it’s the first pike car i ever heard about and it’s just. a little guy

for the unaware the pike cars were a series of four microcars made by nissan in the late 80s through the late 90s. they’re all unreasonably cute

how do u decide what Film to watch next. do u have a list or is it based on vibes

A good portion of the decision making process there is solely what I'm in the mood for (hence the fruitless google searches for "movies like Sicario") but there also exist various movie nights with friends where the group decides what we watch, as well as what's playing in local theaters (I've switched away from streaming premiers almost entirely and now prefer to watch things on the big screen as much as possible).

After that comes basically a loose list I keep of films I want to see, with priority given to films that I've promised various friends I'd watch (Mindwarp for @psygull, Brawl in Cell Block 99 for @1988nissanbe-1 and I believe I owe you yourself a watchthrough of 28 Days Later).

On top of this a local bar I go to has a weekly showing of freak cinema for movie perverts, so I get a guaranteed influx of film that way, even if the quality fluctuates drastically.

additionally I have a big poster on my wall that lists the top 250 movies to see before you die, and when I simply can't decide what to watch, I consult that one.

Add up all these factors and pick one randomly out of a hat and you get the next movie I filmpost about. Simple, right?
