Maybe, I’ve been watching a lot of YouTube videos lately because there is nothing else to do. There is, but I just don’t want to do anything. I am just a lazy dumbfuck who doesn’t want to get out of his room. But you don’t get what you want, life doesn’t work that way, it will always have some unavailing plan for you. I handed him the 500 bucks I had and asked him to give me a ticket till Churchgate. He said something which I didn’t understand because it was in Marathi and also because he had tobacco stuffed in his mouth. I asked him for a ticket again and he looked at me as if I asked for his kidneys and told me that he doesn’t have change. I gave him the stomach churning expression he gave me and told him that I don’t have change either, he was like ‘’pure chal’’ which means move ahead in Marathi, I have been in Mumbai since I was eight ,I understand a little bit. I stood there looked at him for 5 seconds and realised that when I am his age I would be annoyed as fuck and I wouldn’t be getting laid like him too. I decided not quarrel and left without a ticket. Santacruz is a slow station and I don’t have the energy to change trains at some fast station also I don’t even have a ticket and I am not planning to blow the 500 bucks I have in my pocket. Anyway I got in first class like a gangster without a ticket and luckily it wasn’t crowded much so I got a seat .I plugged in my earphones and started listening to amnesia. There were gazillions of messages on Whatsapp which I decided to ignore till I finish listening to amnesia. There was a creepy man too who kept looking at me in a sketchy way, this is what I get annoyed about. All these weird people I have to see in a local and I don’t know what it is about local trains whenever I travel in one I sit by the window and start thinking about the most random things. It wasn’t much crowded because luckily I boarded the train at 10:00 AM and the trains that come from Borivali or Andheri aren’t as crowded as they would be at 8 or 9 in the morning. And I boarded the one which was coming from Andheri and Santacruz being the second station after Andheri gave me the privilege to get a seat in the train. The ladies 1st class compartment was right in front of me. The train stopped at Khar road and a little more peasants entered the train than what I was expecting. The shitty Monday was being shitty until this prepossessing creature entered the train. She could have entered the ladies compartment, it’s more comfortable for a girl to travel in the ladies’ compartment, that’s what I feel but they’re females they have the privilege to be anywhere. She seemed a little lost . She was wearing a blue denim and a sublime white top and all the men out there had their eyes on her exposed shoulders. That’s what the problem is, that is why women feel more comfortable in a ladies’ compartment. At least there are no creepy men ogling at them. Anyway, she seemed pretty lost and she didn’t even notice their annoying faces. She was sitting right in front of me and I am no Greek God but I am not unnoticeable. I spend freaking 2 hours in the gym every day, the girls I have got compliments from have always mentioned something about my eyes. How intense they are and how they like my sharp features and how they fell for my looks and stuff like that. I know that I am good looking and my features are really sharp because my mother has got really charming features and I think I have her genes. So, there I was admiring her beautiful features and there she was completely lost looking outside the window contemplating life like I was until she came. I think I was being more creepy than that annoying guy who was creeping me out when I entered the train. She looked at me all embarrassed and started crying again, I really didn’t know what to do or if to do or say anything. I was just staring at her not saying anything because I was so mesmerised and I didn’t even realise how creepy I might have appeared in her eyes. She wiped her tears and kept looking outside the window and didn’t look at me at all. I tried to plot something in my brain so that I can start a conversation with her. I could’ve just asked her why she was crying but I didn’t know her and it wasn’t my fucking business to mind her business. And what if she was one of those snooty girls with snob issues, she would’ve asked me to fuck off and I would just end up looking like a fool. I saw those fuck bands in her hand that was an in thing when we were in school, those black bands which we took so much pride in wearing. But no one would wear it now and those bands disappeared from the market long back. “Why are you wearing these fuck bands?” I asked her before my brain could slap me in the face with a dead fish. She looked at me then at her bands and then looked at me again. *silence* *awkward silence* I swear to God I must have been looking like a person who has been punched in the gut really hard. I have been wearing them since I was 13, I never opened them, she replied looking right into my eyes after those 30 seconds of awkward silence. She was so intimidating ,there was a blank expression on her face when she answered my dumb question and I was amused that she responded. Had I been her, I would have ignored the fuck out of me. Oh! That’s nice. *Why the fuck in the world would I reply like that, a fucking “nice”. I would have let anyone slap me for my imbecile response. Again, 0 fucks given to whatever I said, I know it was stupid but she could have smiled maybe. It seemed as if she didn’t even pay attention to my amazeballs ”nice”. She grabbed her sling and got up to leave or maybe to switch seats because obviously there was a creep asking her about fuck bands. But I was expecting her to get down because the train was going to halt at Bandra. And I was assured when she stood next to the door. It would have been a slap in my face if she had decided to switch seats. There was something I want to know about her. I just wanted to talk to her, maybe just get to know the reason behind her sudden emotional rush. What I did next was really stupid, more stupid than getting someone’s name tattooed on your body, more stupid than anything in the world. Also why would I do that, why would anyone do that! I got down too and I started following her, I didn’t want to stalk her like this but I wanted to know about her and also I didn’t have the guts to ask her another question again because, A. She was really intimidating and the people who intimidate me give me goose bumps. B. She will consider me crazy, not like she doesn’t already but I don’t want to be embarrassed again. c. which is sort of the conclusion in one sentence, “I was scared”. So, I decided to stalk her. and she walked like a crazy freak. I don’t know why she was doing that. I just assumed that she must have assumed that the creep from the train is following her. God! She was walking so fucking fast. And all these people kept pushing me and there is this one thing about Mumbai local people, the make annoying noises instead of just saying ‘excuse me”. And all these people around me kept asking me to “pure chal”. I would have “pure chal” if there was enough space ahead of me to “pure chal”. Bloody idiots! Anyway, this beautiful creature who was running like a road runner stopped on the stairs and she turned around and started to come down the stairs and at that point of time I knew that I was going to get caught and maybe slapped or I don’t know murdered or castrated. Women are weird okay. They switch within seconds so you can’t really know what’s next in the plate for you. But the shitty Monday decided to give Raen some solace and not proving itself to be the shittiest Monday. So, she didn’t see me. She was coming down the stairs just to give a 10 rupees note to this really old lady with hollow eyes who looked helpless and awfully sad. I decided to give some money too but all I had was 500 bucks and no change I wouldn’t have had any issue giving her 100 bucks too but then I just had that 500’s note and I would be screwed if I had given it to her. then I realised that i am not the unluckiest person on earth who doesn’t have any friends to borrow money from and my mother earns a bomb and even though she hates me, she would be the one to take me to the hospital and maybe cry a little bit if I starve and die. I just put that 5oo bucks in the bowl she had and ran after the beautiful creature. The old lady kept calling out for me and I would have smiled back or listened to her if the road runner wasn’t trying to run out of sight. I ran to the main bridge and kept following her, banging into random aunties who thought I was trying to molest them but what am I supposed to do if they’re so fat and they keep coming in my way. This one aunty stepped on my right foot deliberately and I know it was a deliberate action because the way she gave me a look that said that she’s going to crush my balls if I even look at a woman in this life. I really don’t know why I kept getting surrounded by fat aunties and I wouldn’t even move a muscle but some part of their body would get into contact with my body and I would be looked down upon as a molester. I knew if I would have said or done anything I would have been castrated then and there and I want to enjoy living with the “D” intact. So, I decided to bear with everything that was happening to me. There was just one thing I wasn’t ready to bear with and that was the ticket collector. YES! The freaking ticket collector stood right in front of me demanding for a ticket and all I had in my mind was the road runner who was nowhere to be found, all thanks to the lovely aunties. I stood there looking at the dope faced ticket collector without a ticket, without any money. He wouldn’t leave me I didn’t even have money. I thought of calling my friend but none of my friends were picking up. Ritwick did and he offered freaking Paytm. Such retards I have as my friends. They won’t even come here to save me. The ticket collector took me to the station office and the only saviour I could think of was mother India. Shitty Monday! Screw you! Shitty Monday……………..
