Jari’s done everything. Washed and done his hair up very pretty, dressed in civilian clothes(which is simply the button up and his usually pants that lie under his green padded coat, this time significantly less covered in dirt and blood), bought a bouquet of flowers for the Cassian’s mother. All this preparation and he’s still nervous. It’s a huge cliché, really. Boyfriend is nervous to meet his beloved’s parents- he’s read it all before but he didn’t think it was quite so accurate. “Does my hair look alright? My clothes are straight, right, my sweet?”

“I’ve never been under so much pressure.” Well, maybe there were a few other times…

The tiefling smiled at him, helping to make sure he looked nice for his parents. Not that they would really care. He was sure his mother was going to jump them as soon as they stepped through the door. But he was hoping she wouldn't that his father would answer and ease them inside.

"You look fine. Don't be so nervous." probably easier said than done. he moved to knock at the door but stopped short. "Oh my mom might attack us when we come inside."

Cassian was reeling from the ice peak to the eye, though it wasn't really all that bad since he did get an objectively better one. Even if it cost him his cool, piercing eyes.
