A little tip: Anniversary and holiday events can often have group gifts, so keep your eyes peeled. Events that don’t happen on a monthly basis may also have gifts as well, especially yearly fairs. Holiday sales are also a great time for savings. Second Life’s own Shop And Hop events are chock full of gifts every time.

Searching the Marketplace

There’s tons of free stuff when you know what to look for! Using keywords like “gift”, “freebie” and “dollarbie” gets you far. Using categories to your advantage helps plenty as well.

“But Coru, why does this item cost 1 linden?” Great question! From what I can tell, it’s mostly because of the way the SL marketplace prioritizes items (I noticed items that cost 0 lindens like demos get shunted far back in the results), but also partly so you can send it as a gift for your friend because you can’t gift items that are 0 lindens! Or something! I don’t actually knyow! But it’s a nice thought.

In-world group gifts

Even when you try your best to not spend any money, you may have to at least spend a little to join a group you’re interested in. Some groups are free! Nyanderful!

EPISODE 4: Bring On The Chaos

Oh boy, this was a big one.

Immediately after Sea Council, the castaways were given their next reward challenge - a mythological Wikipedia race which Rose and Linden would eventually win - along with a TEAM SWAP ANNOUNCEMENT! Everyone was added to a joint chat, at which point they could speak with anyone in the game until the teams were divided via a schoolyard pick, with the team captains chosen by MJ because he intercepted a signal from the watchtower shortly beforehand. The choices were made very quickly, and our new teams were [MJ, Logan, Jenna, Marg, Rose, Alyx and Zoe] on New Proteus versus [Jessica, Katie, Linden, Rhea, Jessie, Linus, and Allyn] on New Ceto, picked in that order.

A few hours into getting settled onto these new teams, Logan decided to mosey down to Submere 3 and let out Proteus’ monster. He was warned that this would be made public to the team yet still proceeded anyway... and was rewarded with a hidden immunity idol but punished by sending his team automatically to Sea Council. He was told this decision would be posted after the immunity challenge.

Meanwhile on Ceto, Katie made the same choice just a few hours later - which meant she also got an idol, and also sent Ceto to Sea Council, thus triggering a Double Sea Council round where only one was originally planned.

To make this all the more delicious, this round’s immunity was a temptations challenge, in which each player had to decide whether to follow the instructions of Persnickety Pete to give up powers in the game in order to win points and keep their team safe. (Contrary to Katie’s speculations within her alliance chat, this was in fact the original planned challenge for this round, not specially chosen because of the monsters.) With about half of each team having been informed about the automatic Council, most players did not give much up, although Rose went almost all in on Proteus and Linden went rather OTT on Ceto firmly believing that everyone else was going to take all the temptations alongside her.

After the reveal of the monsters’ double release, almost everyone in the game was exiled from the team chats and unable to communicate with each other for 5 hours, as for some reason this was the one temptation everyone wanted. After the time-out was up, however, plans began quickly coming together on both sides to shift votes onto the outliers, which meant Alyx/Rose on Proteus and Linus/Jessie on Ceto. For the latter, there didn’t seem to be much to do besides campaign against one another at the mercy of the majority vote; however, on Proteus, Alyx had a couple tricks up his sleeve. Thanks to a newly forged alliance with Logan & Marg as well as his discovery of a Sapphire Idol in suite 2D at the Hotel, the idoled-up threesome were able to concoct a plan to make sure the majority votes were split between Alyx and Rose, so that those two would be saved by the Sapphire Idol and could decide who went home with a minority vote.

Due to their poorer performance in the immunity challenge, Proteus went to Sea Council first, where Rose had an extra vote cast against her from Persnickety Pete, six out of seven players had their vote publicly revealed (good thing Marg kept theirs secret!), and Alyx went through with his plan to play his Sapphire Idol, sending Zoe home in a 4-3-1 turned 1-0-0 vote.

At Ceto’s Sea Council, things were a bit less spicy, but not by much. The votes ended up being incredibly close, with Jessie being sent to walk the plank in a 3-2-2 vote.

LINDEN

Uhhhh it's super awkward when you definitely probably know who voted for you at Seat Council. Guess I know where I'll be voting next time maybe?

I love my new team! I'm ready to have more active teammates who will be more involved in things. I hope we can get along well and not have too many issues with old alliances and the sort. Or maybe we can and make it more dramatic!? Who knows!

also i have an idol lol but i seem to be like way worse at searching than like other people so like how many people have an idol?? whats the tea

I'll do a quick written confessional rn. At surface level I'm happy with the swap. But I think I'd feel safer if I was with Katie. I'm soooo glad I'm with Logan, but I'm worried we're gonna be targeted. I know MJ could easily flip the team on us for being close. And Zoe would most likely follow. But Hopefully that won't happen. I would love to stick with MJ. I'm not sure where Logan stands with everything, so right now my closes people would be Katie, MJ, and probably Allyn. Logan is working with Marg and I don't mind trying to work with them, so I'm trying to talk to them a bit. Zoe still isn't super responsive so not sure where we stand, but as long as MJ doesn't decide to go against me and Logan it should be okay. I hope Katie is okay on the other team. I'm assuming Jess will work with her. Anyway, gonna see what Logan has found in the hotel later and prob share with MJ so he knows I'm not just gonna ditch him for Logan.

i really am just having so much fun in my first ever org. my heart is full trying something new <3 lot's has changed since my last confessional. a swap happened!!! i am now on Proteus with MJ, Logan, Jenna, Rose, Alyx, and Zoe. i was a little nervous going into the swap just because i don't know anyone, but i'm actually feeling ok! both Alyx AND Logan found idols in the past 24 hours which is WILD. i feel great knowing that all three of us have something and i feel a sense of security knowing where stuff is. i'm not sure how many advantages Ari put into the game, but i feel like there shouldn't be many more idols than that?? 3 feels like a lot. ANYWAYS, literally all three of us from Ceto have idols, so i'm feeling ok right now! Alyx and Logan both only told me about their idols too, so i feel like i'm in a good spot between the two of them. i made an alliance chat for the three of us and i am trying to bring the two of them together. hopefully it works and we can figure something out whenever we go to sea council next!! i'm also trying to branch out and meet everyone from the original Proteus team. i really am loving meeting everyone and getting to know each other! i have talked to Jenna the most out of the people new to me. she's really easy to talk to, and i would love to work with her! i hope we can make it happen. i think it would be fun, and i'm here for fun!!! my biggest fear in this game is being delusional or not really understanding what is going on. i think i have some agency in the game and don't just follow people who have played in orgs a bunch??? i want to have a mind of my own and play to win. i think i'm doing that? i hope i'm doing that? i'm really just trying to focus on social bonds so that people want to work with me. gosh i just reread everything and i sound so optimistic. i'm ending this confessional before something bad happens. bye!

I really hope I can convince everyone to go along with the wild plan to take all the options. Allyn, Katie, and I have all said yes for sure in one on one chats! Linus and Jessica are both maybes and Jessie is also hesitant. Rhea is very busy with her mouth but I really think we should go for it!!! I just have to get everyone to trust one another for a brief moment.

The number of times I have googled "aquaman" while trying to visit this blog is astounding. Anyways... I love Linden that is it that is all that is the confessional. I saw this challenge (and the option to self vote??? Amazing) and I didn't take it because I was like oh no, Jessie and Linden need me and I can't risk them going home. I come back and Linden has said don't worry, I took every single thing because I think it's funny. I could never achieve this level of being iconic.

I think what actually happened is Katie told everyone on her side we automatically are losing so none of them are going to take anything. That's fine by me honestly! If Linden is self-voting, I think I will make this go to rocks. But not just any rocks..... I think I'm gonna try and do this: - me, Jessie, Linus: vote Katie - Katie, Allyn, Rhea: vote me - Linden: is not voting at all Then if it ties, Katie and I are safe from rocks and everyone else does it. This seems really fun so I hope it works. However, I think Linus might mess up a plan like this so who knows what will happen.

I released the monster and I would do it again and again and again!!!!!! I found out Rhea has the missing mask and can mutiny after sea council... I had a plan to take said mask and jump to the other team to then release their monster, but no such luck because LOGAN LET IT GO!!!!!!!!

I am also the holder of all pearl information and am excited to watch who unleashes the curse first-- its between Jess or Jenna... I don't really do reward challenges unless I get to draw a picture so I know I wont have enough hotel trips to figure out the curse myself so now I watch and wait. Someone has the f5 item from the vending machine and I am being CONSTANTLY LIED TO about who has it... thats my next goal

I tried to tell my old team members not to give anything up but nobody listened and now I'm the only person not exiled and alone in the team chat. It's amazing~

That's right. I was shook. I was also almost picked last which I don't know how to feel about. At least I ended up on the team I wanted to be on. Jessica, Linden and me are hoping we can snatch up Linus because apparently he was in the minority on the other team and Linus passed my vibe check so I am fine with that. Us Canadians must stick together ? Yeah that sounds good I kind of like the sound of that lol.

Anyways I did not take all the punishments for this round and no regrets because both teams lost. Katie let pancakes free of course Pancakes was going to cause some trouble. So we go to council tomorrow most people have punishments so I should be okay this round. The public vote? Not as scary as not getting a vote or getting an extra vote to your name. I can do damage control if need to. I just got to believe in myself.

I will also be staying up so I can start strategizing when we all get added back to the chat after this lovely chat exile break. Anyways at this point I will probably be voting Rhea due to lack of bonding but who knows what plans later tonight or tomorrow will bring? I sure don't know. But I am ready. Bring on the chaos <3

So I actually meant to talk about something else in this confessional but I'm dumb and forgot about it so I'll type it out. Playing with Logan reminded me to chill out a little more and have more fun and not take everything too seriously. I remember this book I was reading where this team did something that would make them lose for sure but then they would learn from it, and if you're not willing to take risks and go outside of your comfort zone and fail then you're never going to grow as a person. You're not gonna win all the time because if you do you never actually learn all that you can and so I wanna have fun and cause chaos and not be afraid to lose because I'm growing and that's good! Life is a lot more fun if you're not focused on being the best and just having a good time with good people and taking steps in the right direction. Eventually you become the best anyway, so I'm really glad Logan helped put that in perspective. I'm still gonna try! But I wanna take more risks, like releasing that curse! Maybe the game will be harder but I'll be having fun on the way.

Team switch is actually going okay! I am still with Rhea and Linus who are my number 1 and 2, and Katie is being trustworthy at the moment so that is good. I am also with Jessica, who I've been friends with for 6 years and I definitely want to align with her eventually (she's a beast in person and in Survivor), it's just I don't know why she doesn't want Jessie out. I'm hoping telling her to go for Linus won't hurt us in the long run, because she is definitely a person I want to work with. Katie is controlling and mean (sorry, just what I have witnessed) and she's good for our votes at the moment, but I definitely want her out soon. She completely ignored my all my ideas and input on the rule making challenge, and it was just not very fun to work with her. (Jenna has confirmed, wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy) Linden is so sweet and I love her, (we are Bellingham buddies and I wish she still lived here) I just don't think the numbers are there for her to stay too much longer :( Pretty sure we're all good for Jessie to go tonight!

UCL partners with Google to grow quantum software industry in the UK

UCL is signing up with forces with Google to launch a ₤ 5.5 m Prosperity Partnership, which intends to harness the advanced power of quantum computer systems for applications in modelling and simulation.

The effort, moneyed by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), is a cooperation in between the UCL Quantum Science and Technology Institute, Google Quantum AI Lab and the University of Bristol Quantum InformationInstitute It likewise consists of UK start-up business GTN and PhaseCraft.

The collaboration will formally begin in January and run for 5 years. It will unite first-rate proficiency in quantum algorithm advancement and the exploitation of software applications with innovative advancements in quantum processor hardware.

The program will contribute to the Government’s objective of investing 2.4 percent of GDP into research study and advancement within the next 10 years, with a long term objective of 3 percent.

A Beginner’s Guide to Second Life: How do you shop?

I see people on pretty often asking questions about the game, so I decided to use my knowledge to make a few guides for new players. I'll be tossing these up whenever I feel like making a new one. They will be in no particular order, but i’ll be sure to link to the previous guides in each post. If you have any suggestions on what I should make my next guide about, i'd love to hear them!

On today's Beginner's Guide, we're going to be answering the question:

"How do you shop for stuff?"

Firstly, you can wander around grid looking for stores. It's...wildly inefficient, but you occasionally find a gem. You also get to see the weird and wonderful world of SL from a whole new angle! Go without any expectations at all you'll have a good time!

Secondly, you can use the in-built search function to search for keywords related to your style and tp to whatever seems to strike your interest! Not a bad way to shop if you like inworld shopping, and you can sometimes find some underrated gems that most people wouldn't ever see! The downside to this method (as well as the first) is you're also pretty likely to find a lot of shops with super outdated merchandise. Poorly optimized products from a decade ago that just don't look great in the mesh-centric SL of today.

Thirdly, the most powerful, and by far the most popular, is the marketplace! You search keywords related to what style you're looking for, and can narrow it down by category, price, or even land-impact. The marketplace makes it super easy to find anything you're looking for, as well as find some super cheap but high-quality goodies! You can also use boolean terms such as AND and NOT to further refine your search. There are items on the marketplace (and inworld!) in a category called "Gacha" which are resold prizes from games of chance found inworld. They're almost always no-copy, so a majority of people aren't interested. (We like to make copies of our stuff for modification, organization of inventories, and just so we can use more than one at a time!) There are a LOT of them on the marketplace, and they show up in nearly every search, but you can easily weed out most of them by adding "NOT gacha" to the end of your search.

Some good boolean searches I would suggest for first-time shopping would be "[insert keyword here] NOT gacha" "[insert keyword here] NOT demo" and "[insert keyword here] AND gift"You can also add multiple boolean terms to a single search, like "[insert keyword here] NOT gacha NOT demo"

Some general tips for shopping:

Demos are not full-products. They look like absolute steals at L$0-L$1, and it's common for new players to mistake them for full products. However, they're meant to check the fit of an item and sometimes textures, and will often have the word "DEMO" unattractively plastered over the entire thing.

Gifts (sometimes called Promos), on the other hand, are full-products. Stores will often make a certain product and sell it at a very low cost (usually L$10 or less) as a gift for people checking out their store, and an incentive to visit. You can find gifts from some of the top SL stores that are often just as good as their full-priced products, so it never hurts to take a look! Some inworld stores also offer their gifts for free to those in their group, as well as other fun freebies like lucky boards (sometimes lucky chairs) and midnight mania, so keep an eye out for those as well! The group joiners are generally close to the store's entrance

ALWAYS double check the product image, title of the object, and the description (if marketplace shopping) to be sure you're buying exactly what you'd expect. In today's SL, there are so many different mesh bodies out there that it's not uncommon for stores to sell multiple versions of the same product in different fits. It's like sizing in the real world. You wouldn't buy pants without checking the tag for the size, so make sure you double-check the size and color on SL products too!

On that note, always try demos if they're available! Sometimes something looks amazing in the listing image but less-than-stellar inworld. Sometimes the fit isn't quite right, or the item is flawed. It may even be that after seeing it on your avatar, you decide it just isn't right for you. Trying demos is like trying something on in RL, and is ALWAYS a good idea!

Clothing Layers (sometimes called "system") are functionally just textures mapped to specific parts of your body. They overlay over your existing body for a skin-tight fit. Unfortunately, many of them are quite outdated and low-resolution, so look closely at the listing image before deciding whether or not to buy Clothing Layers. They will work with the default LL avatar, as well as many mesh bodies now with Bakes on Mesh. (Appliers work similarly, but are made for specific mesh bodies.)

Standard sizes are meant to fit the default avatar linden labs provides everyone with. The one underneath everything when you're not wearing any attachments. (LL now provides nicer mesh bodies that go over top this, and I have no idea if they fit any other clothing than the ones they provide, so make sure you take that body off too unless you're down to experiment! If someone knows if they are able to fit into standard or fitmesh clothes, please let me know). They may fit some mesh bodies, provided you are willing to edit your shape and/or use the alpha hud that came with your body to alpha some areas. Standard mesh does not conform to your avatar's shape sliders, and you will likely need to change your shape to get a perfect fit, regardless of which body you use.

Fitmesh sizes are made to conform to your shape. They will move with your shape sliders when you edit your shape. These will work with the default LL avatar, and some mesh bodies (though, you may still need to use your alpha hud to prevent clipping, and they may be a bit loose on certain bodies, regardless of your shape).

Unrigged Mesh is a type of mesh that exists as a static object. It does not conform to your shape sliders, or move with your avatar (other than sticking where you place it.) so it may clip through you as you move. The benefit to unrigged mesh is that, provided the object is modifiable, you will be able to resize it how you like, and position it wherever you'd like. Unrigged mesh works well for: jewelry, belts, and other accessories, and some short hairs, or longer hairs that rest away from your body (ponytails, etc) ("prims" and "sculpts"/"sculpties" work the same way, but are generally less detailed).

Rigged Mesh is a type of mesh that conforms to (usually) your shape sliders, as well as moving with your avatar's movements. You can not change its size or shape except via your shape sliders (which also changes your shape in most cases), nor can you change its position. Rigged mesh works well for: all clothing, shoes, longer hairs, etc.

Maitreya/Belleza/Freya/Jake/Kemono/Kuroo, etc etc. or other names listed on the object mean that product is meant to work with a specific mesh body. If you do not own and use the mesh body/ies listed, the product will not work for you. However, if you do own and use the body/ies listed, the product should be a perfect or near-perfect fit with perhaps only a bit of alphaing needed.

Many products need to be unpacked. If you purchase a product and go to wear it and it's showing up as only a box on your avatar, you didn't get scammed (probably)! Go to a sandbox sim inworld, or any other rez zone and drag and drop the item from your inventory to the ground. Click on it, and it should bring up a window showing its contents. Click "copy to inventory" and you're good to go! Just make sure you delete or pick up your boxes afterwards! Many products also now come with scripts in their boxes to automatically unpack them to a folder in your inventory when you attach them, so it never hurts to try if you don't feel like finding a rez zone!

Gachas aren't all bad! I know I taught you how to filter them out earlier, but hear me out here! Gachas, provided you're fine with them being no-copy, can be just like gifts/promos if you shop smart. You can often find single colors of commons from gacha machines for extremely cheap prices being resold on the marketplace. I've put together entire fatpacks of some very nice common gacha shoes for cheaper than a normal fatpack from the original store would have been. AND, if you ever get tired of the product, you can always sell it again in your own store, or pass it on to a friend as a gift! The major downside to gacha products bought on the marketplace (other than the no-copy thing) is that they are being resold by third-party sellers who can not provide support for the product. If something goes wrong, you'll need to live with it, or rebuy the product. So, if you do decide to get some gacha products, treat them carefully, and accept that any modifications you make are there to stay! (Bonus: If you rez a no-copy item and it says it "Failed to rez" or something similar, and disappears from your inventory, don't panic! Just relog. It should be right back where it's supposed to be, or in your lost and found folder!)

The longest day of the year has passed and we’re sliding into fall

This is one of several, Fall foliage Primers for Leaf Peepers. Even so, I try every year to answer as many of your questions as possible and please remember there is one of me and a million of you… So wait times will vary.

In picking dates for finding Autumn colors Where=When

First I have written a bunch of articles over the past years and maybe you don’t know where to find them! Or maybe you have found them under Foliage Articles above but where do you begin?

So let’s start simple. WHEN = WHERE. (the inverse is just as true) Pretty simple right? Either you pick a set of dates or you pick a location that you really want to visit. So if you first pick the when now you pick the location. If you start with the dates, they will choose your location. (in a general sort of way)

Harder than it looks, or is it?

Flaming orange and gold fall colors

The hardest part for me is to tell leaf peepers where to go based on their dates. Not because the fall color won’t be there, but because it may not be “perfect”. If you read my article on finding peak fall foliage, the one thing to remember is that every year is different.

Sometimes the full color is late or maybe the leaves start to drop early but either way, there will be fall colors before you get there and after you leave. Sumacs will start to turn red in August but most of you would be disappointed to see the canopy of all green above and a scattering of scarlet to orange bushes below.

Maybe you noticed I said Full, in the previous paragraph? Well, this is because the fall colors will start with a few tiny baby steps. A few leaves will begin to turn then a branch up near the crown of the tree. Then, a few days later the entire crown is turning orange and further down the green leaves are more yellow than green.

The next time you see the tree, the orange leaves are edged with red and the yellow leaves that are down below are rainbows of orange mixed with yellow and if you are lucky a bit of red. All this has happened in the space of five to 10 days.

This is the true story of a tree at the end of my street. Every day in October I drive by and I sit (if I’m lucky enough to hit the red light) and I observe the changes in the colors. There is a Norway maple near it that turns only yellow and up the block are a few Linden trees that won’t begin turning until the end of October. This is the way of the fall colors.

The Basics of Leaf Peeping

Don’t: come here on Columbus Day weekend (I’ve heard people say this)

First, when I say avoid the Columbus Day weekend, it doesn’t mean don’t be here, over this long weekend. It means don’t arrive on Friday in Boston and then expect to get on Route 93 out of Logan and “quickly” drive up to Franconia Notch. On Friday afternoon/evening you will be sharing the road 50,000 other Leaf Peepers. So the Journey that would normally take a couple of hours can take 4-8 or more hours depending on how far north you go.

DO: Arrive on the 3rd or 4th of Oct and be up here WITH reservations and plan to stay off the highways. If you read my articles and find the out of the way places like Jefferson Notch OR Pondicherry Wildlife Refuge and you won’t see anyone. Well, maybe a few people, because they read my blog and will be out looking for secluded notch roads.

Don’t be afraid to travel on Columbus Day or the days leading up to it.

Do stay OFF the Highways or near to the highways leading up into Northern New England.

Can you travel on Columbus Day? Sure! I have left the house at 3 AM on Columbus Day, up to Stowe VT and I didn’t have much of an issue. The secret is to travel early and be waiting for sunrise, especially if the spot is popular (like Smugglers Notch or the Jenne Farm). I then spent the day avoiding heavy traffic. I drove to another iconic location on the Eastern Vermont border. Waits River is a very small town on Route 25 South East of Montpelier. If you head down it and arrive in Bradford without seeing it, it means you sneezed and missed it.

Not an early riser? Do you have children that don’t wake early or you yourself are not an early riser, then sleep in and get breakfast when you wake. If you are in small places like Craftsbury VT or Stark NH then you can travel late morning and get to many places without seeing too much traffic.

If you HAVE to do the Kancamagus Highway, then do it but do it on the weekdays before or stay an extra day past Columbus day and do it afterward. Look to try driving it mid-week instead of the weekend. If you have to do it on the weekend do it early because everybody else is sleeping in.

In 2015, the colors were well over a week late in many areas so, on Columbus Day I was on my way up to Smuggler’s Notch (as noted above) No traffic to speak of and little traffic at 6AM on a bright and sunny morning. I spent 2 hours walking (carefully) up and down Smuggler’s Notch.

Twin Cities restaurants officially offered outdoor dining as of June 1st, and as of July 25th, they are now able to open for both indoor and outdoor service at up to 50% capacity (not to exceed 250 total guests). Reservations are required for indoor seating, but not to dine outside. This has led to many Twin Cities restaurants to expanding and/or adding outdoor seating in their parking lots, lawns, alleyways, and sidewalks.

Masks are required for both restaurant staff and guests. You’ll have to wear a mask when not seated at your table, and all tables need to be six feet apart. Party sizes are limited and each restaurant has their own policy, so it’s important to check with places ahead of time. Some restaurants also have time limits for dining (for both indoor and outdoor seating), and these typically range from 1-1.5 hours.

All of the restaurants in the Twin Cities become more lively during the summer months as this is the first opportunity to sit outside for more than five minutes without freezing our buns off. Now, adding on a pandemic, the options to dine outdoors have expanded. So, here’s a list of all the places that are open where you can eat and drink in Minneapolis and Saint Paul.

This long-standing rooftop patio in the heart of downtown has amazing sushi, steak, and city views. They now offer weekend brunch as well.

Located on the ground level of the historic Hotel Ivy, Monello is where to go for good Italian food. Dine by the Mississippi River on the large outside patio of Jefe Urban Cocina. They serve dishes like carnitas and camarones tacos, and especiales like huaraches. All outdoor seating is walk-up with a wait-list (depending upon availability and capacity restrictions). For outdoor seating, check in with the host upon arrival to be seated or wait-listed if necessary based on availability. Patio seating is available Tuesday-Sunday from 4pm to close.

Quincy Street in Nordeast is full of amazing spots to eat and drink, including this walk-up food trailer located outside of Able Brewery called Animales BBQ. Purchase your tickets ahead of time to enjoy this large Nordeast riverside Tiki-themed patio. Tickets are non-refundable nor transferable. Not only does Stanley’s have their new Cookies n Custard truck parked outside, but they also feature their famous dog menu. This is Minneapolis’ only three-course menu for dogs, which allows you to treat your best friend and yourself. Reservations are required and they are currently accepting parties up to four people.

This Mexican spot in Saint Paul is a deli with groceries, and a beautiful arts and crafts section featuring artists from Mexico. Reservations are required for their patio dining, which seats up to 50 people with six feet distance, and they only allow a maximum of four people per table.

Handsome Hog is a Southern food spot that has a big space with outdoor seating. They serve a pig-centric menu with bold drinks. Try the mac and cheese with Flamin’ Hot Cheetos and the three-piece buttermilk fried chicken.
