Ever since the events had happened with Kingpin and just name is and her mother being arrested. She had no one anymore, and also had been spending time with Clint and his family who took her in like she was their own. She had been back in New York for a while and now she was on her way back home after she had been walking Lucky. Opening the door of her place and walked inside as she released Lucky from his leash as she then put down her bow and arrow and closing the door behind her and not even a minutes later she heard a knock on the door.

Opening the door as she saw a young man standing there when Kate was just confused right now. "Can I help you?" Looking at him as her gaze then went to her dog and back to the one standing in front of her door. "Or better yet, who are you?" Putting her bow and arrow away when she then almost tripped, as the clumsy person that she is.

Kate was looking at Yelena when she asked her that. "No, I am not still mad at you." It wasn't really that she was ever mad at the woman, or maybe a little and Kate just didn't really wanted to admit it. Yet, she meant what she said to the blonde. "Didn't expected to see you again here." Kate just came back to New York to check on things, not really care about her mother at this point.

Did she ever thought she would send her own mother to jail? No she definitely did not but then again she also didn’t expected her mother to just work for the bad guys either. The way that she has met Yelena the sister of Natasha was something she never thought expected or that Nat had a sister for that matter. Thank god that she did not kill Clint that would have been something, luckily Clint let Kate spend Christmas with his family since well Kate doesn’t have anyone at this point to celebrate it with. While she was staying at the Barton’s she was able to stay in the guest room. 

The raven-haired girl walked into the room as she grabbed her phone to see what she could possibly do. Was it weird if she wanted to text Yelena to ask how she’s doing. Or is that just strange. Okay no she is just going to text the assassin. Taking a deep breathe while sitting down on the edge of the bed as she then started texting Yelena. 

“Just checking in to see how you’re doing. Thank you for not going through with it in like.. you know, killing Clint.“

Kate looked up when she heard Clint his voice. "Thank you." was all she said and well yeah she couldn't sleep as she sighed. "Wait, who told you that I couldn't sleep?" She frowned as she was wondering that. As she lately just couldn't sleep a lot and then she was just laying in bed staring at the ceiling and just debating of what she should do. The whole her mother being in prison is just spinning through her mind. She did what she thought was best and arrest her mother for what she did. It wasn't good and just her mother killed someone. It was just a lot.

“Please be careful out there.” Yelena to Kate

"I am always careful. So don't worry about me." The woman was looking at the assassin as she tilted her head to a side as she then frowned. "You almost made it sound like you care about me. Scared that something might happen." Kate just teasingly said to Yelena with a small smirk onto her face and yes she was enjoying to just mess with her. "Seriously, I will be fine. I know what I am doing." Does she actually know what she was doing? Yeah, yeah she was. Without a doubt. Just seeing Yelena worry was something the dark-haired girl did not expect at all.
