after the skiing trip, ronan had taken a couple of days off for himself. the trip, despite having been very relaxing, still had him tired at the end of it. and he surely had enjoyed mael’s presence all throughout--in terms of keeping him entertained, that is. watching over his every lovestruck reaction, even more the way he would react every time ronan would touch him. he found it utterly amusing. yet, after the trip, he had been ignoring mael... on purpose. standing outside the set, idly chatting to some crew people, the moment he spots mael, he raised a hand as if he hadn’t been ignoring, texts and calls, even his being. “ oh, hey, it’s mael. ” pointed ronan as he waved. “ hey man, come over here! ”

on set, despite not looking like it, ronan’s observes every single one of his co-stars. he observes and judges them, listening to how they interpret their lines and constantly thinking to himself on how they could make it better, whether to lessen on emotion or heighten it. he knows it’s pretentious, and at times he’s an asshole for even going up to some actors and telling them directly in the most passive given they’re in front of crew, but obvious way, that they did shit. and among today’s victims, ronan finds his eyes following the actor who played the brooding, angsty role of ella gilly’s brother. ronan huffs to himself at the bright idiot that waltzes around set, thinking he appears rather airheaded no matter how much they’ve spoken to one another as co-stars and always questioning who cast him for the role he has. bearing in mind, ronan has never seen any of his acting in person. and with no one to entertain him today, the actor decides to bother mael. and first thing he does? bumps into him with a cup of coffee. “ oh--oh, my gosh! ” ronan places a hand on mael’s shoulder in ( half-hearted ) apology, “ i’m so sorry, i’m a ditz today--mael? god, i feel even worse now. your shirt! i hope you weren’t on your way for a take or anything, we need to fix this. ”

camilo has my father to thank, thought ronan in mild annoyance as he skulked around the euphoria set, looking for the mentioned person in his thoughts. ronan had felt bad, sure, but he would never apologise for anything. he wasn’t good at apologising--in fact, he thinks he was never made for it. but that doesn’t mean that when it comes to friends and friends and family only he wouldn’t feel bad. so after talking to his dad that yeah, everything is fine... this happened though, his old man kind of ( read: actually scolded him ) told him to stop acting the way he was and apologise to the poor boy. so, upon finding camilo he calls out to him. “ camilo. ” he awkwardly coughed. “ hey man, i... i just wanted to... uh... ” he gave a look around sheepishly. “ anyway we can go somewhere ? i need to tell you something. ”
