#(which. I think cathryn is doing a lot of heavy lifting with the having history thing but like cathryn was a distinct character too!)

the weirdest thing about porting siarra from a setting where she had like. an endgame relationship (a friend's oc) to one where she doesn't is like. I kind of have to subtly fill that character's niche now and it's hard to not just. make that guy
#so far my plans are 1- not rich 2- still overall a nice dude 3- still fire powers 4- still a tiny bit of a cop. but like explored this time#5- unfortunately does not have history with her#6- also not privvy to her trauma this time around 7- maybe not endgame at all. maybe never even together#dunno cause like it was very much like. kid ocs that were developed alongside each other at first#so like my friend's character was the first character siarra ever met. she was fully developed in the super early stages as having-#- feelings for him (my childhood comphet manifested as female characters Requiring male partners).#which fun fact took like 3 real life years of kind of joking about it before we were like. ok so they do get together and get married#(he ended up doing a lot of independent stuff later on with one of the characters' kids btw. which is like. I hold a lot of nostalgia for-#- that like wow... impacting each other's lives... anyways)#basically tldr siarra OG is so very intrinsically tied to that character#that like. it's a super necessary niche for her but also very difficult to not take wholecloth#(which. I think cathryn is doing a lot of heavy lifting with the having history thing but like cathryn was a distinct character too!)#(most of her current story with siarra was just. ALSO present with siarra OG)#(cause siarra (and r. actually) was my elementary school... blorbo)#(but cathryn was my full blown middle school lgbt I want to be her I want to have her baby butch awakening tool focus character blorbo.)#anyways. memories... and writing. ugh#Drakepost
