charlie’s main tactic in lying is distraction. as soon as someone gets close to a touchy subject, she switches topics. she tries to be subtle about it, but she also knows she’s a poor liar, so she wants to get out of the Danger Zone as quickly as possible to avoid breaking under the pressure. unfortunately, her impatience to switch topics can make it rather obvious which subjects/questions she’s trying to avoid. her main weakness is emotional. she doesn’t want to lie. she doesn’t enjoy secrecy at all. she wants to get close to people and make friends. lying doesn’t come naturally/easily to her. because of this, she sometimes lets secrets slip on accident, and she’s also quicker to admit the truth when pushed. charlie does not lie well under pressure. at all.
