ᴅᴀᴛᴇ ʜᴇᴀᴅᴄᴀɴɴᴏɴs:

oh my gosh this is 100% bokuto’s dream date and you can’t tell me otherwise. he absolutely loves amusement parks in general so going with the person he loves most just makes the whole experience a million times better. you wouldn’t even have to go on any rides at all and he would be having the time of his life, just being there with you under the lights from the rides and walking close together makes him fill to the brim with happiness. all in all he loves the sponatiety and fun of amusement park dates, and loves the sentimental moments just as much.

•he loves going on the rolleroasters to show you he’s tough and brave, but he’s actually really scared, it’s pretty obvious but you don’t tell him you know, of course. like he loves rollercoasters a lot but that doesn’t mean he’s not scared, so when he goes on a big ride to show you his courage you can literally see the fear and regret in his eyes, although it washes away immediately after you flash him a smile paired with a giggle at his panicked expression. if you like roller coasters as well he would love going on them with you, it actually really comforts him to have you there cause anytime you’re together it’s basically impossible for him to feel any emotion besides adoration and happiness. but if you don’t like rollercoasters he’s totally fine with that too! (he’s actually kinda relieved he doesn’t have to show you his “bravery” agdgs-) he would love to do more tame rides as well because it’s more sentimental that way.

•you know that whole kiss on the top of the ferris wheel trope? he absolutely adores it. now bokuto isn’t really that good at being romantic because he’s usually very clumsy and not smooth with it (but that’s why you love him, with his goofiness and all) but he’s always been a sucker for romantic and heartfelt gestures or scenarios. honestly doing something like that with the one he loves is something that makes him giddy even thinking about, so when you two decided on an amusement park date that was something that popped in his mind very quickly, kissing you atop the ferris wheel. when you actually were gonna do it he was really flustered and blushy and acted a little shy because he’s never done anything like that before, and he already feels butterflies anytime he’s around you so kissing you makes him incredibly flustered. this sounds cheesy, but i’m genuinely not joking when i say that when you two kissed it was like everything else disappeared and it was just you two on top of the world. now you two were pretty early in the relationship, not super early but enough that you two didn’t quite know for sure if it was 100% love. at this moment though, bokuto knew it was absolutely love and your relationship was something he wanted to cherish and last forever.
