Stranded colorwork is immensely easier when working in the round

#sincerely yours truly #who was working flat for a blanket #let's just say i am only ever working in the round again #if i need a cardigan i will steek it #granted also having a proper pattern that doesn't require you to catch the yarn also helps a lot #but not having to bend my mind around a backwards chart? so much easier #idk why but i could just not wrap my head around reading charts L-R and so wrong-side rows were ridiculous #and then purling stranded was just...a whole production... #anyways i am almost 1/2 done with the *make the wool sweater fit* project #thanks to bernadette banner for making me aware of armscyes and gussets #because i was able to recognize that the armhole was just too big on the sweater #so it pulled uncomfortably every time i raised my arm #added a gusset for a smaller armhole + more space #and it's way more comfortable #(also added a stripe down the arm to expand it and a longer cuff because the biggest problem was that it was too small)
