Ah, once again my mum has spent an entire car ride complaining about my brother

#gamer txt. #'he keeps saying no one tells me things because im dismissive' you are #'whenever you've had a problem ive always tried to help' you havent #'i feel like he's two people: funny and chatty and then grim and grumpy' i literally cant figure out why she keeps saying this? #my brother is always nice and open when he talks to the rest of us? or me at least? #does she mean when he would complain for entire car rides? bc 1. he's just telling us about his shit day. ive never had a problem with it #and 2. that would be pretty hypocritical #if not does she just mean when he gets quiet and stops engaging? bc again 1. thats happens to people sometimes #2. he told her he was autistic Today. socialising gets hard man #and 3. this only ever happens when other people initiate conversation. i think he's always good with me bc he's always the one who starts #i dunno she just keeps on complaining about to me which is just like. thats your son. thats My brother #if she's trying to get sympathy from me its not working. surely she knows that by now? i mean i try my best to appear impartial but i- #-still pretty heavily take his side in these things #and i mean hes right. all the things she complains about him saying are right #'im not dismissive i try to help when yous have a problem' he means when he brings up possible issues and gets brushed off #and she doesnt even help? i was so close to bringing up how my self harm was handled by sweeping it under the rug #or yknow how she starved me for 3 months bc i ate too many too consistently #i dunno it just bothers the hell outta me
