PSA: MOVING

The blog puppet-slayer (Kohaku) has been moved to my current main blog @chukazanmai​ (Ren).

Since the shirokodomo blog is a main one and cannot be moved, I will be re doing it as a sideblog of chukazanmai as well. Once done this blog will be archived and I will provide the link to the new one so that whoever is interested in re-following can find it.

After a year and a half of hunting, I am happy to say that I will be starting a new job this Friday! 

The schedules will be difficult to adapt since I will also have to work on weekends but it will be worth it! This means my activity will die down again on my blogs, however, I will still be here and on Discord so feel free to talk to me in there.

“Keh, no problem. I could do it in my SLEEP.” Moroha nodded with a confident (and maybe slightly cocky) smile on her lips, passing her bow and arrow into one hand and cracking her knuckles with the other. It was no secret that using her spiritual abilities was not Moroha’s favorite method of fighting - she much preferred her SWORD, being the aggressor rather than defensive with barriers and arrows of sealing. 

But hey, any opportunity to show off was GOOD in her books.

Forcing herself to take a slow breath through her nose and out of her mouth, Moroha turned her attention onto the rapidly darkening sky above them. Truthfully? This was a MUCH larger area to cover than she’d ever attempted before. She was talented with barriers, but was she this talented? That didn’t much matter; she didn’t have much choice BUT to succeed. The scent of the demons on the wind was getting stronger by the second, she had to act now. Aiming her weapon straight at the clouds overhead, Moroha pulled the string back and murmured, “Please work…” before letting the arrow fly.

In all truth, Hakudoshi had no idea why there was suddenly an horde of demons coming but he would be sure to investigate later. After they had placed the people in the village in a safe area.

Ironic much. Decades before he would have been on the side of that horde of demons, certainly leading them for a feast of human flesh. Violet eyes watched as the familiar sacred arrow flew into the sky towards the dark clouds.

“That should be enough.” it was a comment more to himself rather than to anyone around him. Putting the villagers in a safe area, however, would not be enough, the treat had to be dealt with “Moroha. Do you feel like destroying some of those?” he pointed towards the in coming demons as he too grabbed his naginata.

Moroha had her MOTHER to thank for her keen eye and immense sense of empathy. Kagome was practically as famous for her kindness and perceptiveness as she was for destroying the Shikon Jewel. Her daughter had followed in her tender and well intentioned footsteps … though, perhaps, with slightly less grace or tact. She was ALSO Inuyasha’s child, after all; there was no hope of her anything but a little rough around the edges. 

Nodding her head in agreement, Moroha returned her gaze to the horizon. She couldn’t exactly tell WHICH of her abilities, spiritual or demonic, had picked up on the disturbance first. All she knew what she she definitely felt it. “What do you think it is?” Moroha asked casually, already nocking an arrow in her bow just in case.

He couldn’t help the light smirk that came upon his lips once she confirmed what he had asked. She truly was her parents’ child and Hakudoshi wouldn’t expect anything else from those who had slain Naraku.

“A horde of demons is coming and we will need to eventually trace down its source.” he stated while still staring at the sky.

“Either case, it is better to reunite everyone in the same place and set up a barrier. You can do it, right? I will let Kohaku know and have the Demon Slayers be ready.”
