Had an "and quartz of course" moment the other day when I was wearing a pendant of the Venus of Willendorf and two of my colleagues went "oh yes that's mesopotamian is it?"

But that is such a common and widespread interpretation incl among experts that I will not be salty #I am just salty that even among experts it is so prevalent to see a representation of a fat woman and think the only reason #Someone could have made her is to signify fertility.
