"You think she's okay?" Usually he wasn't the serious one of the group, but even he was growing increasingly more worried about Violet. She seriously needed to let her hair down and come into town with them one weekend instead of hiding away in her room every two weeks arguing with Riorson. Though if you asked Ridoc, whatever was going on between the pair, they either just needed to fuck already or Violet needs to come into town and get under an Infantry to get over a Rider so to speak.

Plus he was about eighty percent sure that she was avoiding the rest of them. She was taking some serious blows during training, hanging out with Imogen of all people - though the pink haired rider was growing on him a little this year, kinda. He had to wonder if he had fucked up and done something to upset her accidentally. Wouldn't be the first time.

"The more you close yourself off the harder is is to reverse and let someone in." Ridoc shrugged a single shoulder. He like everyone had a preconceived notion of the Marked Kids before he crossed the parapet, but since then, he'd found them to be some of the strongest people he'd meet. It wasn't surprising that they were guarded with their emotions given the vitriol that was thrown their way for something that hadn't even been their fault. "I'm here if you need to talk though - I'm not just a pretty face you know."

"Good, because I'd like to think we more than just trust each other, that we're friends." He gave Violet a lopsided grin. They'd been in this together since the squads were formed after the parapet, between Vi and Rhiannon, he had his people. He saw how hard she worked to be here and was the smartest person he knew and he a grateful for all her help when it came to the theory stuff, that hadn't been his strong skill and she had taken the time to help him where others might have left him flop.
