//I just got caught up on Castle Rock and the whole time I was watching it I kept hearing this voice that I recognized but couldn’t figure out who it belonged to or why I knew it.... and then oh my god, it’s fucking Adam Rothenberg! I’ve never seen him in anything outside of Ripper Street before. His character is an asshole, but still! I’m glad to see him in something else.

//Imagine if Hobbs in his ghost verse doesn’t realize he’s died and he thinks that he’s failed Martha Fanthorpe, so he’s like running through the streets racing to get back to the station and he’s in such a rush he doesn’t notice he’s run right through the front doors, and he sees everyone huddled around the dead room and hears Drake say “not the boy...” and Hobbs doesn’t understand what’s going on and he’s trying to get their attention because “HEY MARTHA’S IN TROUBLE!” and he slips through the crowd of constables and sees himself on the slab and just... oh man.

//I’ve finally started writing up those verses that I promised to do forever ago (I’m sorry it’s taken me so long to get them up), though they’re in my drafts (thanks to @melodyoflights for inspiring the modern verse idea I now have, you have no idea how much that thread has helped me!) and just need to be put up on the page. Also @whendeathcalls has inspired me to consider making a ghost verse for Hobbs? I think he needs one. He'd be that lingering spirit of a boy who was taken way too soon.

//I feel like this blog gives the false impression that Hobbs has more than 20 scenes, more than 10 lines, and has a backstory at all in the show, if even that? Because he doesn’t really have that at all, and it’s disappointing, and depressing... but the show is def. worth checking out!
