Deals with it pretty okay! Except...

He gets through his days just fine and the sadness over missing you rarely drags him down. His phone always has to be in his pocket, though. He muted every kind of notification except for a few important contacts, including you. You also have a special ringtone on his phone, so he instantly recognizes it if it's you so he knows he can't ignore or decline. And whenever he can't talk to you on the phone because either he or you are busy, it's like half of his thoughts are still taken up by you. Sometimes when he thinks too much of you he tears up a bit, but he doesn't let himself cry.

KUNIGAMI, Aryu, Kuon, BAROU!!!

Deals with it decently! But...

He's busy and distracted most of the time. You cross his mind every now and then but he's really trying to concentrate on his career because you're not around anyways and he doesn't want to get sad half of the day. But the moment he's back in his hotel room in the evening, he pulls out his phone to call you. He misses your voice so much and even more does he miss having you in his arms. Sometimes you can hear how he's holding back tears in his voice, but he won't ever admit to that.

RAICHI, Chigiri, Gagamaru, NAGI

Deals with it awfully! Because...

He just hates being away from you so so SO much. He wishes he could take you along every time he has to travel, but he knows it's not possible. Sadness overtakes him often but he has no one to talk about it and doesn't want to constantly bother you with messages about how much he misses you. But on some nights you immediately notice he's crying when he calls you and it takes a while until you get him to calm down by reminding him of how little time is left until he sees you again.

Raichi has a weird hate-love relationship with being spoiled. He loves the attention, but something about the thought of being spoiled by you specifically always makes him feel weird. He just feels like you should be the one getting spoiled by him, not the other way around.

Ever since you started hanging out together, Raichi has always been the one to pay for whatever you wanted or needed. Whenever you tried to pay for him, Raichi would forcefully put the money back in your hands.

But for his birthday, you decided to finally do something in return for the countless times he paid something for you.

You already knew Raichi wouldn't accept you paying for his things even on his birthday, so you bought all the presents beforehand. New shoes for soccer, new clothes and a few volumes of his favourite manga that you know he's been missing.

Besides that, you also tried your best to make a few handmade presents as well. "A few" turned into fifteen small crocheted plushies that you worked on in secret for three months.

And when you finally get to give him all the presents, that's the first time you've ever seen Raichi cry - in joy, of course.

-he's a picky eater and he probably thinks most German food looks weird but he tries it if you cook it for him

-he tries to be nice about the things he dislikes because it's your cooking but honestly, there are maybe 3 things he ends up liking

-it took at least 5 attempts to get him so try Sauerkraut and he ended up liking it so you're the winner in that

-you bake German bread for him every once in a while but he probably eats it in the span of two days

-Raichi thinks it's cute when you forget some words in Japanese and say the German ones instead!! Most of the time he figures out what you mean by the context

-he's not interested in learning German but he asks you to teach him German insults all the time (that ends up coming in handy when he meets Kaiser)

-whenever you're late to something, he teases you with the stereotype that Germans are always on time

-in general, he likes to tease you with any stereotype he knows about Germans A LOT. Not in a mean way, he's always lighthearted with it (Raichi doesn't want to feel as if he genuinely judges you)

You sure do have a weird selection of queerplatonic boyfriends and hanging out with all of them at once is always a huge mess. Most of the time, you hang out with each of them separately anyways, but every now and then you ask them to spend time as the entire group. It's not like they don't get along, but they're just an odd combination. Although, Raichi tends to start little arguments all the time.

Because summer is approaching and the weather is nice, you've invited all four of them to a rainbow picnic in the backyard. And so far, everything is going surprisingly well.

Your assigned colour was red, so you made a strawberry cake all by yourself. Raichi's colour was yellow, and what did he bring? Lemons. Yes. It made you burst out in laughter immediately, but Raichi didn't seem embarrassed at all. He still had his usual grin on his face and waited for the next person to get out what they brought.

Zantetsu got out a box of blueberries from his bag, which Raichi immediately has to comment on. "Aren't they rather purple?"

"...They have blue in der name." Zantetsu shrugs and puts the blueberries down on the picnic blanket.

"They're not really blue, though?" Raichi's voice sounds slightly irritated.

Zantetsu glares back at Raichi and the lemons he brought. "And who's supposed to eat your limes?"

"They're lemons, idiot." Raichi responds only a few seconds later

You already expected some sort of conflict to happen, so you just let those two argue for a bit until they calm down. Well, that always takes a few minutes because Raichi never backs down and Zantetsu doesn't like being wrong. In the meantime, Tokimitsu and Junichi get their food out as well - Toki brought green grapes and Junichi brought chocolate chip cookies - but the other two don't notice any of that due to their arguing.

After minutes of fighting, neither Raichi nor Zantetsu has calmed down and it's starting to annoy Junichi at this point. You notice he's getting irritated from the annoyed little grunts he's letting out every time he looks at Raichi and Zantetsu, so even though you think their argument is funny, you don't want Junichi to be in a bad mood because of them.

"Guys can you maybe calm down and stop arguing?"

"Zantetsu still doesn't admit his blueberries aren't blue!"

"At least I brought something you can eat!" Zantetsu argues back and crosses his arms.

Raichi's angry expression changes to a smirk as he grabs one of the lemons and just bites into it without hesitation.

You roll your eyes at the sight of that, although you can't help but laugh about it. "Raichi I love you, but you're really fucking stupid."

"I have a point to prove here!" Raichi takes another bite, but spits it out on the grass pretty quickly."

"Great point you proved there." You reach over to nudge his arm. "Now admit you brought something no one is gonna eat."

"...Fine." Raichi mutters under his breath, slightly annoyed before looking over at the food Tokimitsu and Junichi brought.

You can see how Tokimitsu gets nervous over Raichi possibly judging what he brought, so you take his hand to reassure him he didn't mess up anything. Actually, Raichi is about to judge Junichi's chocolate chip cookies because he got brown and the chocolate is dark enough to almost be black, but he then decides against it.

There's a death stare on Junichi's face when he notices Raichi looking at the cookies, though. Maybe another argument is about to happen - or maybe not.

While everyone is eating (everything except for Raichi's lemons), it's actually surprisingly calm. No one is talking much, not as if Junichi talks a lot in general and Tokimitsu prefers to stay silent most of the time as well, but neither has Raichi left a stupid comment about something nor has Zantetsu said anything to come off as cool.

Because of the silence, Tokimitsu gets a bit nervous. He always feels the urge as if he has to be the one to talk if everyone else is silent, but he has no idea what to say. He's learned to just grab your hand if he's only slightly uncomfortable, so as soon as you feel his hand on yours again, all your attention is on him. The look in his eyes lets you know the silence is uncomfortable for him, so you think about how to start another conversation. One that hopefully doesn't cause any conflict.
