I am doing this because I want to give back to the community that has opened it's arms for me despite me being an anti-social shut in who gets nervous just chatting with people. Oh dear lord I was noticed by the senpais....eh..eh... Quick post the design update for Traumfänger!

So you have noticed the design change sketches already but I went over Traum's design AGAIN. Because of a certain goat daddy in a certain LoZ game....I just went full furry mode. I personally like it a lot! This distinguishes Traum and Lynde even more from one another and also gives me opportunity for fun sprite shenanigans~

I got some art done. It's not much but it is something at least. Three sprites for Traumfänger. Neutral, Smitten, and Angy.

Decided to go with a static body but moving head. Especially for Traum with their muzzle this seems like the best option. Some expressions will differ more than others as you can see here. If anyone has suggestions of what emotions are a must have for a vn please let me know because I am not sure myself...

Oh I see you! This won't be anything fancy but still fun. Also I am taking some liberties.

Traum looks at you confused. You had passed out drunk next to Lynde and arrived in the Dreamscape still intoxicated and wobbly. They rushed towarss you to steady you and with a smile leaned in for a kiss on your cheek which you dodged like a cat that does not want to get kisses. "Nuuuh! I have a boyfriend!" Your voice slurrs and you giggle as Traum just zones out for a moment. Their expressions go from confusion, to anger, to surprise. They knew that you liked Lynde but calling his alter ego your boyfriend was a step you had yet to take in the waking world. They huffed and chuckled, shaking their head. "Come on then Lämmchen. Let's get you a nice and cozy dream."

This Hiatus is more for myself on the artside of things but I still wanna try and interact with people here. Asks are also fine! There probably won't be any art to go with it but I like writing scenarios and thinking about how Traum and Co react to stuff

What if the mc has a strict personal rule about not getting romantically involved with someone they have a professional relationship with? How would Lynde and/or Traum feel about that?

well....is Traum being your 'Dreamcatcher' considered a professional relationship? 🤷‍♀️

If so then they would both try to argue for their cause. Or rather, if you reject Lynde he does not mind as long as you let him send you to sleep to Traum. If you reject Traum however because you think them keeping you safe in your dreams is a professional relationship they will argue with you.

"But why, Lämmchen? This is a dream remember? What I do isn't a job it is what I AM! So please....please give me a chance."

The problem with me working on In Your Dreams with long breaks in between is...that it gives me too much time to overthink Traum's design! I made them more goat like this time around and I really like it! Traum looks much more softer and trustworthy without the more predatory shaped muzzle....anyway what do you guys think?

So how do Traum/Lynde feel about an MC who, in the waking world, is very pessimistic and cynical almost but in the dreaming world is just the complete opposite? Probably thinking Traum is just a part of their dream too-

Traum honestly doesn't mind that you think they are just part of your dream. As long as you stay with them everything is fine. They would notice the shift however. How much more quite and pessimistic you are when Lynde is around in contrast with your bubbly dream personality. To Traum's knowledge the dream-self is the true-self and so they will do everything to find out who and what hurt you to make you so pessimistic in life and make sure that nothing will happen to you ever again. They will protect you. You are their Lämmchen after all.

Milk? Yes. definitely but probably (or maybe actually) the way you imagine.

Shave? Takes a lot of talking to and a lot of promises of cuddles to keep them warm after (not that their fur just regrows in a span of hours or anything..). Also you know how shaved cats look always so skinny because the fur makes them bulky? That is Traum. If you think they are skinny already they look like a stick figure when shaved. I gotta draw that when I have time x3

If I had the ability and the resources I would make a Yandere Gacha....maybe I will make a mock-up for Traum just for the lulz

I am in a Gacha fever so feel free to ignore any of my ramblings.

I just wanna take all the awesome indie Yans and make fun little cards with rising rarity in which the Ultra Rare ones are spicy. Common and rare are just sprites, Super Rare are illustrations and Ultra Rare are, as stated, nsfw. I also already have ideas for the frames....I wanna make like an art deco frame...Common are Copper with an Emerald, Rare are Silver with Sapphire, Super Rare are gold with a ruby, and Ultra Rare are Platinum with a rainbow gem or some sort~
