Tiana was used to seeing tourists on her way to and from work. And normally, she wouldn't give them a second glance as she was usually in a rush to get to Duke's Diner. However, there was something about the bearded man she just passed on the sidewalk that made her pause and look at him for more than a few seconds.
"Pardon, are you lost, sir?" She asked, deciding to approach the man despite her better judgement.

"I'll be with your shortly, sir! Go ahead and have a seat anywhere " Tiana called out, flashing Agent Eleven a welcoming smile the moment he entered the small diner.
After quickly delivering two steaming plates to her other customers, she scurried back towards the agent. "What can I get ya today, honey?"

Tiana loathed the days it was her turn to lock up for the night. It was towards the end of her shift and her coworkers had already left, leaving her to do the brunt of the work alone.
Still, it was kind of peaceful at night. Though she knew she had to remain vigilant just in case. Still, she had yet to have any problems so far. As she tested the lock on the door, she resisted to let out a groan when she heard footsteps coming up from behind. "I'm afraid we're closed for the night. You'll have to come back tomorrow morning."

@winters-club said: "Sorry. I'm new to the area, uh, anything you'd recommend I try?" Velma was struggling with the menu clearly (@ Tiana)
"First time, hon?" Tiana lightly teased, smiling kindly at Velma. It was quite common for tourists to come to New Orleans this time of year. Tiana helped out her fair share of tourists trying New Orleans cuisine for the first time, and this time would be no different.
She knew the menu like the back of her hand, and thus, didn't need to look at it to give off her personal recommendations. "Muffaletta is pretty popular. It's a sandwich with cured meats, cheese, and olive dressing on toasted bread. Can't go wrong with that, but if you're more of a sweets person, I highly recommend our beignets. They're kind of like powdered doughnuts if you're not too familiar with them."

Tiana had seen the Zomburger food truck drive around the street sometimes. She knew about it's...reputation regarding how bad the food was. But she stubbornly refused to believe that everything on the menu was completely inedible. Would she regret it later? Most likely. But her pride wouldn't allow her to leave without at least trying something first. The question was: what item looked the least like it would give her food poisoning?
"Um, 'scuse me, honey?" She said, hoping to get one of the worker's attention. "Is there anything on the menu that you would recommend?"

@zbfrances said: "Damn, girl. Your food is so good. Not like ours, at all. Ours is criminal." (---- hope you don't mind me throwing an umprompted ask at Tiana)
"Thanks, honey! Glad you like it." Tiana chuckled, raising a brow at the woman's choice of attire. Come to think of it, she looked vaguely familiar... "Wait, do you work at the Zomburger food truck? I've seen you guys driving down the street some days."
And sometimes she'd catch a glimpse of that clown-themed food truck too. She was still on the fence about trying out either of those places.

Workin' 9 to 5
What a way to make a livin'
Barely gettin' by
It's all takin' and no givin'
They just use your mind
And they never give you credit
It's enough to drive you
Crazy if you let it

"Aaron seems like a good guy." Cue a dry huff of a laugh. "Better than most of the men I've come across at the diner and I really like him but, I can't help but get the sense that he's hiding something from me... Suppose everyone's entitled to their own secrets." She releases a sigh. "And it's unlike me to be so paranoid...Maybe I just need more sleep."

PROMPTS FROM ROMAN HOLIDAY
@nemekii said: you all right there? (to Tiana from Dumbo)
So much for trying to hide her exhaustion. "Hm? I'm alright, honey. Just a bit tired is--" Tiana blinked when she looked down, expecting to see a small child. Not a baby elephant.
Still she had no visible reaction as she stared down at the animal, before letting out a sigh and shaking her head. "This is what I get for skipping sleep for two days. Now I'm starting to see AND hear things. Imagine, a baby elephant talking to me."

Tiana
9 to 5 - Dolly Parton
Workin' 9 to 5
What a way to make a livin'
Barely gettin' by
It's all takin' and no givin'
I feel like this is kind of self-explanatory but most of Tiana is very much overworked and she's kind of stuck in this endless cycle because not only does she need to support herself but also try to save whatever little money she makes towards fulfilling her dream, but at the cost of sacrificing her free time and social aspects of life.
Beelza
Mother's Daughter - Miley Cyrus
Oh my god, she got the power
Oh, look at her, she got the power
So, so, so
Don't fuck with my freedom
I came up to get me some
I'm nasty, I'm evil
Must be something in the water
Or that I'm my mother's daughter
For my specific portrayal of Beelza, she is definitely her mother's daughter when it comes to embodying Gluttony. However, she carves her own path and still retains her independence. She's a chill person, but she's not gonna let anyone take advantage or walk all over her. That's one of her mother's lesson she's never going to forget.
Erebus
You Belong to the City - Glenn Fry
'Cause you belong to the city
You belong to the night
Living in a river of darkness beneath the neon light
You were born in the city
Concrete under your feet
It's in your moves, it's in your blood
You're a man of the street
Erebus was born and raised in the city and he's learned early on that he was on his own. Everyone else had their own problems and the only people he could really depend on her himself and Sakuya. As depressing as it could be, the city is his home and he's known nothing else but cold concrete and indifferent faces passing him by on the street.

@prowla said: "you said this place was haunted." for tiana
"I said other people been saying it's haunted. It's just an old, creaky building that's seen better days. Nothing to be scared of." She chuckled, looking back towards the entrance of said old building with excitement. "But just you wait, I'm gonna get the money to get this place fixed up and this is where I'm going to have my restaurant!"

"Rough night, hon?" Tiana asked sympathetically, pouring more coffee into his mug.
The man looked...tired for lack of a better word. And that was something she unfortunately could relate to, given the long shifts she was forced to pull day after day. She figured he just got off from a long shift as well, or maybe he had a night job and decided to get some coffee first before heading into work.

"Would you like me to top you off, hon?" Tiana offered, motioning towards Niah's nearly empty glass. While the woman wasn't in her area, it didn't sit right with her to just pass a customer by without taking care of them first.

Tiana's brow rose when she spotted a young girl sitting all by her lonesome at one of the booths. Well, it wasn't an unusual sight she supposed. But whenever she saw a kid her age, their parents were either in the bathroom or forgot their wallet in the car and went to go retrieve it.
She assumed that it was the case this time around too. Shrugging, she approached Hal's table with a friendly smile. "Hi, sweetie. Can I get you started off with something to drink? And do you know what your parents want too?"
