so much of ash's personality came to life when i was messing around figuring her out lol i'm actually having a lot a lot of fun with her.... she's a bit of a tomboy, i think she helps out at inez's alehouse when she gets older. giving lesbian vibes. a handyman and also a rare cassardi hunter, instead of fishing she opts to leave the village and hunt for other meats even if it's only small stuff like rabbits or boars. she goes up and down steps 2 at a time due to her cockiness about her physical ability she has taken many a tumble in her youth, but she stuck with it and is now very agile and sure-footed!!

i think it would also be funny as hell if ashera really WANTED to be an arisen but it never happened for her. waiting around for a dragon that never comes.... wishing for something greater.... wanting an excuse to be something greater than herself....

i think ashera identifies very strongly with the notion of what it "means" to be cassardi despite neither of her parents being natives.... at her heart her loyalties lie with cassardis and it's ways and traditions but she also can't help always being a little off-beat/out of place.... opting to hunt rather than to fish, having this great sense of wanderlust....

#clyde.txt #🌊oc: ashera #in some ways it's very funny how the cycle continues with mother and child here #tenanye never really felt at home or like she ever belonged in a certain place bc of moving when she was young.... #but also in contrast her parents and people who would want to 'other' her see her as staunchly from her little childhood 'heretical' town #and her childhood friends in the town she moved to see her as so purely from there.... where as ashera identifes completely as cassardi #but at times others can only see her as an outsider.... so it's just very interesting opposites and parallels #🕸oc: out of a black cloud came a bird #tenanye being pulled in all these different directions and claimed in ways she doesn't resonate with VS other people further projecting #this sense of unwantedness and not wanting to claim her.... this encapsulates both of their characters perfectly etf #i'm such a genius ashera was my best decision ever of all time

HI i just woke up. honestly i'm not quite sure yet but i am heavily considering.... part of me is like is it Too on the nose for the story/cycle to continue that quickly.... but also all of my ocs are either Fail Girls or Problem Girls and suck at being arisen yet i have been wanting to make a whole classic Good Aligned arisen who follows the entire arisen's journey including becoming senecshal and ash i feel like could actually fit this role.... so i am very torn but honestly very much enjoy both options....

THANKS SUSANNE i figured out tenanye's 3rd baby's name. ashera. which means she who treads the sea and also has some other interesting ties but that's the meaning i'm focusing on.... anye has sea themes herself and ashera's story would be partly one of like trying to reach out for the mother who left her and so i think. the imagery of treading over the sea is like. she is searching endlessly for that and also just the fact that i so heavily associate the sea with anye in the first place
