"H'oh?" A subtle sound, akin to that of a gentle sigh. She wasn't, so to say, bothering him but... there was always a cause and then an effect. It was a common occurrence, one that was rather hard to avoid. Whenever Mayuri was made to consort with anybody-- or anything for that matter, it never failed to be such a chore. "Inoue Orihime," he states, certain syllables receiving emphasis whiles remained ignored. "Visiting, perhaps? I can't say that I nor Nemu have need of your services-- unless," a drawl, crawling into sly territory as it drags, "you have finally decided to take up my offer on becoming a subject?"

"You. Ninth seat," came the sudden bark and then a hasty snap of the fingers. Of course, he knew her name (as he did everybody's. and if he didn't? it was only a matter of time.) but what was the point? Every single subordinate -- whether they were of his own or someone else's -- was the same, lacking that particular individualism that made Mayuri's eye sparkle. What he knew of her was enough, and her name was simply a commodity. "Don't tell me you've lost precious, precious muscle mass just because you're famous--" he swiftly moved his arm, gesturing towards a nearby piece of small rubble, "--that you, all of a sudden, are unable to move simple pieces of rock?"

"Be so kind as to not cough on my equipment." An easy demand-- one that he's probably made time and time again (ukitake was not the outlier but, merely, the most common occurrence. mayuri need not say more.) that it's become borderline instinctual. Mess was never welcomed, especially when it came from the body; he'd "hope" that everyone would understand why. "If you do...? I would certainly hope you are more than willing to offer your body, finally, for science as recompense." Small pause, eyes panning back towards him. "A pity, though, because I already can sense your answer."
