Hi ^^ You mentioned a heartbreaking HC for Lukas and Rebecca re Rook?? I'm curious now! (and ready to have my heart broken ;) )

Smoke slowly billows in front of Lukas' face as he exhales. The burning end of his 2nd cigarette illuminates the tips of his fingers. He stares out into the darkness of the woods, wondering what is out there, who's watching him, what kind of supernatural lurks in the shadows. Bright light from his phone screen is the only other source of illumination for kilometers and kilometers. He aimlessly swipes through his phone reel, laughing at the wild and interesting photos of him and Unit Bravo. The selfie of him and Felix. Pictures of Emma laying on top of Felix, dwarfing him in comparison. A candid picture of Adam running with Emma in the early morning.

All of a sudden Lukas stops. A selfie of him and his Alaskan Malmute, Emma. In the background however, is a framed picture of him at the young age of 14, his mother, and a guitar. A 1984 Ibanez rs400, bright red.

Rebecca had known that Lukas absolutely excelled at music. His father's early influence no doubt. On an early anniversary, Rook had waited for Rebecca to come home from the Agency. He had set up roses and candles. Dinner had been prepared and its smell wafted through their tiny Vancouver apartment. As Rebecca made her way through, she heard Rook playing his guitar; the song that was playing when they got engaged.

That guitar was Rook's favorite. Rebecca once told Lukas, "The whole time I was pregnant, and-" she paused."For those first 2 years after, he played you lullabies every night."

Lukas' 14th birthday was the only one Rebecca was there for. It was just the two of them. After dinner Rebecca had come out of her bedroom with a large box wrapped haphazardly in 'Birthday' paper. Lukas was so confused. He told her, "But you already spent my birthday with me. I don't need any gifts."

Rebecca almost cried when Lukas said that. Their relationship used to be so close. But she was resolute, wiping her tears away saying "Lukas, sweetheart, this isn't just a present from me." She took his hands in her own. "It is a gift from your father."

Lukas never heard much about his dad. Rebecca always told him how traumatizing that moment was, so he understood that she never discussed it. All she would ever say was that Rook loved Lukas with his whole heart. Lukas was his whole world.

Lukas opened the box carefully, but with vigor. When he gazed upon the glossy vibrant red finish, he felt his father with him. Every time Lukas played from that day on, he always felt Rook was right there next to him.

In the last year, Lukas has begun to lose faith in Rebecca and their relationship. He knows it isn't entirely her doing, but he still is not sure if he can entirely forgive her for all those kept secrets. That framed picture from his birthday, is a stark reminder of how things used to be. He loves his life now, especially with Adam in it. Though he can't help but wish he had those days back. Whenever he's sad, whenever he's angry, whenever he records a new track, he picks up Rook's guitar and just plays. He plays until his fingers bleed, until he's filled his notebook with song ideas.

It's the only physical reminder that his father existed.

Lukas x Adam [Meus Amor Aeternus]

What was their first impression of each other?

Lukas saw Adam walk into his office and his jaw dropped to the floor. Lukas is demisexual so he wasn't like attracted to Adam in that way, it was more like "Damn. This dude looks so fucking good." It's not so much the looks, but Lukas loved the way he carried himself, the way he seemed loyal to his brothers in UB, the way he exudes confidence. He also lowkey loves having to look up at Adam (he's 5'7").

Adam saw Lukas and saw a good detective who was dedicated to his work. He respected the hell out of Lukas, but also found him extremely irritating. That was mostly due to having to 'protect' Lukas from Murphy, and was always annoyed when Lukas kept trying to push through the case.

What do they love most about the other? Why?

But in the end, that's what Adam admires and dare I say, loves, about Lukas. He sees a man so dead set on achieving a goal, even if it puts him in danger. He sees a man who is so determined, so resilient, and stubborn. Lukas deals with a lot of PTSD, even before Murphy. But he sees Lukas as a person who is so resilient. Because despite Lukas' night terrors, he continues to be dedicated to his job/s. He loves how Lukas has gone through so much and is still able to push through it in the end.

Lukas absolutely just loves the way Adam treasures their time together. The quiet calm moments in the morning watching a sunrise. The two of them + Emma going for a trail run in the morning, watching the sunrise over the mountains and spreading its light into the valley below. He loves the two of them just going for drives in Adam's car, or on Lukas' motorcycle. Those small moments where they are just metaphorically so bare and vulnerable with one another.

Séamus x Felix [Mo Chroí]

Do they enjoy PDA, or are they more private with affection?

Depends on what you consider to be PDA. If you are talking about kissing and making out in public then no haha.

But if we're talking about holding hands while they walk down the street to the bakery, the way they smile at each other as they sit on a park bench in the summer time, how Felix will lay his head in Séamus' lap when they watch TV. Those little moments where both think to themselves "I love him." They love hugging one another a lot, they do this every where.

Do they have any inside jokes?

Mmm... I wouldn't say so. I've never really thought about this with any ship to be honest.

Who would your OC declare their sworn enemy if they could meet them?

Whomever killed Rook. Murphy. Anwir. And eventually once properly introduced, the Rogue leader and her pet vampire.

What colors best represent them and why? Does this differ from their favorites?

Their eye colors!! Lukas has hazel eyes with specks of brown and gold. Séamus has deep emerald eyes with hints of brown. Gareth has blue eyes with flecks of grey. Lukas' favorite colors are forest green, like his hair! Séamus loves warm colors like reds and oranges, as well as cool bright colors. Gareth likes more subdued earthy colors.

What do they have that others see as a flaw, but they don't care about?

Lukas: His impulsive nature, running headfirst into things without thinking. Stubborn. Séamus: His inaction. Shay has a lot of anxiety and he sees it as being cautious, but others tend to see it as hesitation. Gareth: His inability to care for himself. He serves others and is there to support others, because he refuses to address his own issues.

Who is your OC's perfect companion?

Lukas: Adam, best friends with Mason. Lukas: Mason, best friends with Felix. Séamus: Felix, best friends with Adam. Gareth: Nate, best friends with Mason.

I don't have a Lukas x Adam x Mason LT. It's just that I've played the same version of Lukas for both routes. In each one he's monogamous and demisexual.

What do they dislike most about the other? Why?

Lukas sometimes doesn't like how 'set in his ways' Adam is. Lukas is way more competent than Adam believes. He is extremely frustrated by how Adam underestimates him, his abilities, and planning. This ties in to their precarious relationship status at the end of book 3. Adam left Lukas' room and Lukas was so upset and angry about what Adam said and what (didn't) happen.

Adam hates how Lukas can be so damn reckless. He doesn't understand why Lukas just throws himself into things. He loves Lukas' boldness and determination, but also understands quite well, how much that boldness and pride can lead to ones downfall. He doesn't want to lose Lukas.

Lukas x Mason [Eros]

What do they love most about the other? Why?

Mason wouldn't admit it, but he absolutely loves how Lukas respects his boundaries. He loves how Lukas will say, "Walk with me." Then 15 minutes later they are outside the town, in silence with only the chirrups of nature surrounding them. He feels more free, like it's easier to breathe in these moments.

Lukas loves those moments too. He'll just glance over at Mason in their companionable silence, see how calm Mason looks, and just smile.

What do they dislike most about the other? Why?

Lukas hates that Mason won't buy him cigarettes.

Mason hates when Lukas asks him to buy cigarettes. "They'll kill you." - "Yeah, and?"

Séamus x Felix [Mo Chroí]

If they picked out outfits for each other, what would they look like?

Séamus picks: Knee length socks in bi-pride colors, Black creepers, Black denim short shorts, a bright rainbow loose tank top. And if it's wash day, he'll do Felix's hair in a mohawk box braid of sorts.

Felix picks: Gay pride (in the mlm flag colors) socks, ankle high platform boots, black cargo shorts, and a maroon burgundy button up shirt, undone down the front, and sleeves rolled up. Felix would oil Séamus' long red hair to make it shine, then brush it gently into a sloppy top knot bun.

How do they support each other? How do they rely on each other's support?

Felix supports Séamus by always just being there. Sometimes he'll just sit next to Séamus in silence. Sometimes that means walking into his room, to lay next to him while he's sleeping, just so Séamus can wake up to Felix every morning. That also means Felix is just there to create beautiful moments and memories with him, because he wants Séamus to have the best life.

Séamus supports Felix by reciprocating that feeling of love and dedication. Just by purely enjoying Felix in those moments is enough. Séamus will adore Felix when he's just being himself, and he knows that's enough for Felix. To create beautiful memories along side one another.
