what sexuality does your muse identify as, or most closely with? asexual. he's not attracted to people in general, nor does he have that high of a libido in the first place. akon has a tendency to view his own sexual needs as an annoyance more than anything, a distraction from his work. still, he has a few distinct kinks that will catch his attention every once in a while... do they prefer/tend to be dominant, submissive, both, or etc.? while he doesn't tend to think in those kinds of terms, akon tends to be on the slightly more dominant side———but that's almost exclusively because he doesn't enjoy the thought of giving over control of himself to anyone. that said, if he's with someone he does truly trust, he may be willing to give them a bit of it, just for a while.

do they prefer/tend to be dominant, submissive, both, or etc.? byakuya's a man of extremes in such things, but his response is also extremely partner-driven. what he's most accustomed to is dominance and tends to maintain control over intimacy. but, ultimately, what he craves most is to have that control he clings to so firmly taken from him———by force. but a partner than he can give into, let take that control, is extremely rare.

what sexuality does your muse identify as, or most closely with? androsexual. rose's always known he's exclusively drawn to men———strong men, pretty men, men of all builds and flavours. he's never favored one particular type as they all have their own unique charms and he's extremely comfortable with his sexuality.

welp, thanks to @killershinigami, tengu!byakuya is currently living rent-free in my brain.

byakuya's a wish-granting daitengu (great tengu) that lives in a shrine deep in the mountains. it's a surprisingly well-kept place, considering there are so few visitors to it, and it is always surrounded by blooming sakura trees no matter the season. while his existence is well-known to the villages surrounding his territory, very few people ever make the perilous, days-long journey due to the price he exacts on his granted wishes. he initially asks little of humans who seek him out——only that the favor be one day returned. the deeds he asks, however many months or years later, tend to be extremely difficult or outright impossible. if you do not, or refuse to, complete the tasks he requests, he will not only take back the granted wish but devour your soul and make your soulless body a slave to his shrine for the rest of its natural life. once your body is used up and unable to work for him any further, he will turn it into one of the cherry-blossom trees adorning his shrine. the difficulty of the task usually depends on three things׃ 1 the wish granted———if it's one he deems selfish, the task is almost always impossible or extremely difficult. conversely, if it's something that the human can conceivably achieve themself, he will outright refuse. 2 the respect shown———if he dislikes your approach, he will set an extremely difficult task. however, if the wish is one made selflessly and you show him great respect, the task will be an easy one. 3 how hungry he is———if you offend him, he may simply eat your soul before your wish is even requested. he may be appeased with certain human foods. he can grant nearly anything the human heart might desire——the returned health of a loved one, the death of an enemy, the skills to fight your foes, and much more. there are a few things, however, that only the gods can grant such as bringing people back from the dead and changes to the fate of the human race.

〘 thematic headcanons 〙

though he will never complain about it, byakuya detests the cold and has a general dislike of winter. the kuchiki manor somewhat poorly-insulated against such temperatures and the winter winds have a tendency to creep indoors despite the irori always lit in his private rooms. it leaves him sleeping more poorly than usual and he tends to spend extra time at his rarely-used division quarters; they're smaller and therefore far easier to warm to his liking. it is also a time where the plants he enjoys have died back and there's little greenery. fortunately, he takes small delight in seeing the new growth pushing its way through the last of the snowbanks and tiny buds beginning to adorn the trees on his estate. since bonding with rukia, however, he's come to genuinely appreciate the clear days winter can bring and the frozen beauty of it.
