[I] am not familiar with making tutorials but the gist of it boils down to three steps.

figure out what you want to do for a mask. usually a theme to think about, search for inspiration, search for the images you would like to put in the mask (Canva is one [I] use or sometimes Pinterest)

layout the images/designs you chose on a primary shape (circle, those flower looking curve circles, squares) using any image app. [I] personally use Canva and IbisPaint for this part and from there [I] would play around how it would work. often times [I] would have my main shape as black and my design as white for the next step

next step is making it transparent. [I] would save the design, go to IbisPaint and click "clear white" to delete the design and leave out a hollowed out main shape (hence why black main shape, white design) and see what else to do for it.

Unfortunately [I] cannot provide pictures at the moment but [I] hope this gives a sort of idea how [I] make it.
