LET'S TALK ABOUT ROMANCE. @artmadc:🥰 - Is your muse good at telling when others have feelings for them? (Terrah)

A very hard KINDA, and it's very situation dependent. If Terrah was actively pursuing someone, she can clock if the other person shares mutual feelings about her (whether it's romantic, physical, etc.) because she's trying to pay attention to those details. It's in those moments her flirtation is a lot more prevalent to see if her hypothesis is right. And if it isn't, she's quick to pull back and keep it casual.

Funnily enough, she knew her and Vincent were incompatible from the start because of her good sense of intuition, but still pursued a marriage with him because he wouldn't "fuck with her head (logic)" by being too "emotional." Clearly, that "worked."

If she's NOT looking for it? She can be a bit hesitant to define the underlying feelings of attraction/love/care when it starts to pop up. She starts making excuses for why she's thinking about her romantic interest more often... why she tries to spot them in a crowded room. Their romantic interest has to make their intentions known to her so she cannot deny her shared feelings anymore (which is a fun thing to do).

GOOD MORNING/GOOD NIGHT MESSAGES - Lilah is historically a bad texter / caller; like she will let messages be on read, calls go to voicemail, etc. Lilah will contact you back when she wants to. However, when she starts to fall for someone, she starts to be more proactive in sending "Good Morning/Good Night" messages to start & end the day. This even goes for her closer friendships: Lilah just wants the person she loves to know she's thinking of them before bed.

COOKING MEALS / SUNDAY BREAKFAST - When her father was alive, Lilah would make & share breakfast for herself, her dad, and her ex boyfriend every Sunday, just so everyone knows they're at least getting one cooked meal that week filled with love. Cooking is a love language for Lilah that she underutilizes, so when she's getting involved with someone (platonically or romantically), she'll likely A) make them a meal that they can have later unprompted to show that Lilah is thinking about their wellbeing or B) Lilah will start up the Sunday breakfast tradition again for that person as a subtle nudge that she wants to go beyond just an acquaintanceship (whether that's a deeper friendship or start of a romantic one).

Quickest Pipeline to bang/fuck Terrah? Get on her nerves. It's actually scientifically proven that the ships that work best for her are the ones that start with a bit of annoyance on her partner's side. Specifically, Avian can swing dance, waltz, and foxtrot. Avian enjoyed the dancing part but did not enjoy the part with her weird partners hitting on her afterward. ✦ Avian is "technically" religious but in a spiritual way. James never forced her to go to church with him but did guide her to learn how to use religion that best suited her & her lifestyle. 💯RANDOM FACTS ✦ A lot of Ivy's current black/gothic style was inspired by her mother; Ivy grew up looking over the old Polaroids of her mother and her long black locs & black lipstick idolizing how powerful she looked in those old pictures. Because of this, that has influenced a lot of Ivy's current wardrobe. She actually locs her own hair in honor of her mother. ✦ Ivy transitioned early thanks to her mother's support. After Ivy's father left their lives, her mother took pride in her child's choice and assisted in giving Ivy the life she wanted. This required Ivy to transfer schools so she could start with a clean slate, but by the time Ivy was 13, she could start living her true self. ✦ Ivy has been arrested a handful of times, but never charged. This was mostly throughout her young adulthood, as she was often the one stepping into fights to break them up to protect other people. THE ESPARZA TWINS ARE TIED TO THE HIP - even if their lives took them in separate directions. Avian and her brother, Angus, keep in very, very close contact like they did in their childhood and if neither of them are with friends/lovers, they are probably hanging out with each other. Avian & Angus were each other's original best friend, and they still see each other as such. If you do not have approval from one twin, you don't have approval from either, plain and simple.

Both Angus & Avian share a love of fashion together, mostly stemming from Angus' more artistic nature and Angus designing clothing ideas that he'd eventually make to Avian's figure so she can model his outfits. Because of this, every Sunday, the twins get together so Angus can try out new styles and pieces so he can work his way into the fashion industry.

UNPROMPTED KINDNESS - Avian acts without wanting anything in return, and lives her life that others deserve kindness without question. So, because this is a core tenant in Avian's moral compass, she's quick to fall for others who also act with kindness in mind.

ARTISTIC/CREATIVE PASSION - While Avian isn't an artist in a traditional sense, I do see her enjoying being around people who likes artistic diciplines or if they have a passion for it. Avian sees make up, fashion, and even sees her baking/cooking/mixology hobbies as art to some degree, and any prospective partners often has that more creative mindset that is attractive to her.

REBELLIOUS SPIRIT - Now, in opposition to Avian's goody-two shoes demeanor, she does often flock to partners who have a bit of a rebellious, "bad boy/girl" aura to them. They don't have to be an actual bad person, but she enjoys people who are more explosive or outgoing than she is. People who are more willing to bend the rules for other's benefit. Avian's weird and doesn't have an explicit physical type that she dates, but I can list out the people that she had been attracted to before at one point:

TALL, TANNED/DARK, & HANDSOME/BEAUTIFUL - This is normally for masc/male presenting/identifying individuals; Avian prefers taller partners usually (5'10" - 6'5"), do not ask me why. Her short ass (5'2") likes someone who could probably pick her up! that's the only explanation I have for you. Tans/darker complexions are also a bonus for her with dark brown/black hair. Someone who walked out of a telenovela could fit this archetype for her. Very princely types.

LIPSTICK LESBIAN/BISEXUALS - this is normally for fem/female presenting/identifying individuals, but Avian loves a girly girl’s girl. Someone who she can dress up with, share clothes with, do each other makeup, etc. Avian just likes pretty girls and fumbles the bag just as much.

Nache Ferraro may be a ruthless crime lord who has been the leading cause for the increase of drug trades in the Americas & Europe within the last 10+ years, probably has killed (directly & indirectly) at minimum 200-300+ people in the last 45+ years of his life, and has a literal database of blackmail and extortion information that could ruin literally thousands of people, but he's such a great family man.

Man loves his wife more than the world. His kids, Nachito & Gabriella?? Absolute angelitos that can do no wrong in his eyes. They want ponies? They got it. Absolutely adores his niece, Avian, and would give her a country if he could. His family is his world. 10/10.

kinda? it's hard to really say. anyone who Avian is romantically interested in normally have a foundation of friendship with her prior to her developing a crush/feelings for them. those Avian keep close to her, she may have had an aspect of sharp wit or sarcasm that matches Avian's. Avian only goes for people with good hearts & intentions, because those morals are fundamental to her and she refuses to be with someone that doesn't match that. for Avian, i think it's a lot of personality-based type than looks.

if we do have to talk about looks, Avian has only seem to show interested in brunettes & redheads in particular. she prefers a partner taller than her (which is easy since she's only like ... 5'2" lmao), and bonus points if her partner has a latin heritage like she does, as she likes someone she can share a similar culture with. she enjoys more rebellious individuals, more outgoing ones. but again, it varies depending on the situation.

🏷️ Do they give their partners cute nicknames?

somewhat; Avian has a habit of making cutesy version of her partner's names, shortening them to some degree if it's possible. (i.e. Gia -> Gigi, Lilith -> Lili for a couple of people that come to mind); but she doesn't normally do pet names.

if anything, Avian is often the recipient of nicknames herself. with the name like 'Avian', she has gotten "Birdy" before, or Avi, normally.

♦️ Are they concerned with the social status of their partner?

absolutely not, and i think that's influenced by who she has around her now. when her father was still alive, James' perspective on others often warped Avian's perspective on them. and because James did not want his children to affiliate with anyone that could lower their children's status, Avian, being the golden child, often took her father's word as law. if her dad said not to affiliate with someone, Avian is going to do it.

now that Avian has to make her own decision, the only factor she considers is another person's kindness & intentions before all else. she doesn't care what background they come from, she only cares about who they are and what they stand for.

😘 Does their demeanor change when in a relationship? 

FOR IVY: Elvira's demeanor doesn't change too significantly. they're still rather confident and playful in a relationship, but now there's a level of patience that's rather peculiar for Ivy. most people know Ivy to be a tad impatient, and rather irritable if others waste her time, but with her partner, she has all the time in the world to listen to them and wait on them. Ivy's tuned emotional intelligence really shows in her intimate relationships, as her heart shows on their sleeve, and they're willing to talk about their feelings with a partner than with strangers.

FOR AVIAN: her demeanor definitely changes within a relationship. Avian's stuffy and uptight demeanor when first meeting her melts into her true nature: eager, open, and outwardly friendly & quirky. she's more inclined to show her hobbies and interest (fashion, makeup, baking & mixology), and attempts to share them fully with her partner with glee. it's like seeing a sunflower open up towards the nearest path of warm. avian will still have a lot of her wit with her partner, but she's more likely to talk mindlessly and enthusiastically.

💍Would they ever get married?

YES, and i know she'd want a medium sized, outdoor ceremony in the spring, surrounded by flurries of colorful pastel flowers, a white wedding arch wrapped in greenery. Avian is 100% one of those girls with pinterest boards imagining big events for herself, including her imaginary wedding. she even has her ideal wedding ring in mind: a gold band, with a square-ish diamond and a band that looks like a vine.

but, to Avian, a lot of these were more dreams than actual reality. for the longest time, she believed herself to not be marriage material due to her inability to trust someone and her own personal anxiety/depression of losing her father. she wanted her dad to walk her down the aisle one day, and now she'll never live that dream, thus she thinks getting married is far off from her.

🤐Would they ever confess their feelings first?

oh 100% YES, and it's going to come out clumsy and randomly. Avian's sharp with her tongue, but sometimes her words speak faster than her thoughts. when she gets to a point of infatuation with someone, i see her eyeing them down with stars in her eyes, completely unaware of the task they were doing in the process. Avian's prone to slipping on her words and stumbling over her thoughts, and in the ease of quiet between her and her partner, she says, rather loudly "i love you," without question.

she'll be IMMEDIATELY embarrassed right after; like, she somehow finds a way to blush despite it all. she'll try to retract it out of worry if her partner doesn't like her in that way, but once the other affirms their care for her, she doesn't stop saying it randomly.

🚀 How far are they willing to go for the person they love?

as a fatal flaw, AVIAN LOVES SELFLESSLY AND EARNESTLY; love & trust are one in the same for Avian, and so no matter what her lover does, she goes along with it without question - or attempts to rationalize it up to a point. if her lover asks something of her, it's not unlikely for Avian to do it.

Avian does have her hard limits: she refuses to hurt other people (physically or emotionally), no matter the circumstances. however, Avian will rationalize her partners actions, if she can see good intentions to them. good intentions being the determining factor.

regardless of it all, Avian is more sacrificial than selfish; she's willing to destroy herself more for love, other than her destroying those around her. that's how far she'll go for the person they love. this also is very consistent to her relationships with friends & family as well - she'd rather give it all up than lose those she loves.

❤️ Do they fall in love easily?

funnily, she does NOT. Avian believes everyone deserves kindness off the bat, that's true, but she her trust issues run deep from her adolescence, so she really need to build a foundation of friendship with someone before she can start to see them as a romantic option for herself.

and even then, romance starts slow and subtle for Avian. she doesn't acknowledge she's crushing on someone until her thoughts & actions revolves around the thoughts/opinions of her partner, and the moment she realizes she's in love, it comes crashing from there.

now, she has definitely had some passing crushes here and there, but even she knows those are flimsy and finite.
