You may be terrible (you're so not- in fact, has anyone mentioned how awesome you are today? Cause VERY MUCH that. ), but what you are mostly CERTAINLY NOT is wrong. A fish fry, a localized burst of heat to make them dryer than the Sahara, flash freezing mid-swim, there are probaly a dozen ways Ororo could have ended the fighting.

personally i think it’s pretty clear in canon but just for headcanon & clarity sake : i write thomas as having adhd !

in particular he struggles with following instructions & time management — while running the maze , he relies solely on minho to make sure they return in time. its also why he’s frequently running through closing small spaces — while luckily he makes it through every time, he often begins the manoeuvre simply severely underestimating how little time he has.

also his sleep schedule is all over the place — until they reach the safe haven , it is brushed aside as a symptom of the immense stress the boy is under , but once they are somewhere safe it is clear that even calmed thomas rarely sleeps a “normal” sleep schedule. he can be found often wandering the safe haven aimlessly in the early hours of the morning when he can’t sleep, and eventually vince puts him on night watch shift to give him something to do.

you can search tags on INDIVIDUAL BLOGS and that tag will appear. if you go to my blog and search qsmp or mishapen words you'll get to see my increasing bafflement as i test. however.
