     CLEAR, JOYOUS LAUGHTER resounded despite the openness, and the upperclassman ran over to the younger girl in an attempt to get her attention. Much of her enthusiasm came from the fervent HOPES that she could be even closer friends with Aishi Ayano, and what better than to go for a brief bout of shopping? “Yan-chan!” she called out, waving her hand excitedly.

     FORLORNLY, THE UPPERCLASSMAN looks down at her shoes, having engaged in a conversation with a underclassman a year younger than her after school. Dissatisfaction EATS away at her -- Taeko honestly hated the topic that they were on, but she was SURE that Aishi-kun certainly didn’t mean anything of the sort. “The Student Council President.....” she sighs, “....is good in everything she does, I agree, but....Aishi-kun, I want to at least beat her in SOMETHING!”
