Context: Vandiyathevan after escaping from the forest where he met Nandini.

Riding his horse slowly along the shores of the Mullai river Vandiyathevan travelled all night. In the third hour the comet attained its full glory and was seen covering a long stretch of the sky. He wondered often if the comet that spread fear among the peoples’ hearts would really lead to something that should not have happened, or if it was mere blind superstition. In the middle of (these thoughts), he was also struck with memories of Nandini. The words she had said were entrenched well in his mind. The disgust that he had felt upon first seeing her in the Thanjavur palace had disappeared now. Instead, because of her having been through unfortunate events in here life, some sympathy was born. Even so, given the mystery around what her motives were, what she aimed to do, what her real story was, in a corner (of Vandiyathevan’s mind), anger too was present. Along with peerless beauty, it felt like she was also in possession of some magical powers. Hence it would be better to not have any kind of a bond with her henceforth. How much better would it have been if she had taken the palm leaf signet ring back. Hadn’t she refused to take it back? It can be thrown in the river; but the mind did not agree. In these dangerous times, it might be of use at the right time; why to throw it?

Vandiyathevan’s changing opinion of Nandini! It’s interesting that he alone sees her as the complex woman she is, even Arulmozhi does not, biased as he is in his sister’s favour. (Seriously, I am definitely writing that AU in which he’s not as close to Kundavai, for reasons concerning Aditha)

Sincere and true intention to perform Hajj and Umrah for the Sake of Allah.

When a Muslim sincerely intends to perform Hajj and is unable to go for some reason, or doesn’t have the means to go, Allah (Ta’ala) will write the reward of a complete Hajj for him.

It has been narrated on the authority of RA, who said: “We were with the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam on an expedition. He Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: ‘There are some people in Madinah. They are with you whenever you cover a distance or cross a valley. They have been detained by illness.’ [Muslim no. 1911a]

In a version of the tradition narrated on the authority of A’mash (Rahimahullaah), we have the words: “They will share with you the reward (for Struggle).” [Muslim no. 1911b]

The Messenger of Allah Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said:

“The world is only for four persons: A servant whom Allah provides with wealth and knowledge, so he has Taqwa of his Rabb with it, nurtures the ties of kinship with it, and he knows that Allah has a right in it. So this is the most virtuous rank. And a servant whom Allah provides with knowledge, but He does not provide wealth. So he has a truthful intent, saying: “If I had wealth, then I would do the deeds of so-and-so with it.” He has his intention, so their rewards are the same. And a servant whom Allah provides with wealth, but He does not provide him with knowledge. [So he spends his wealth rashly without knowledge, nor having Taqwa of his Rabb, nor nurturing the ties of kinship. and he does not know that Allah has a right in it. So this is the most despicable rank. And a servant whom Allah does not provide with wealth nor knowledge, so he says: “If I had wealth, then I would do the deeds of so-and-so with it.” He has his intention, so their sin is the same.” [Sunan Al-Tirmidhi 2325; Sahih]

If you are truthful, and Allah (Ta’ala) knows if you are truthful in your request, then you will be given the full reward for the good deed.

உண்மையான செல்வம் என்பது நாம் கொடுப்பதில் இல்லை மாறாக நாம் கொடுக்கும் விதத்தில் உள்ளது. பகிரும் செயலின் போது வெளிப்படுத்தப்படும் ஒழுக்கம் மற்றும் நடத்தை ஆகியவை உண்மையிலேயே கணக்கிடப்படுகின்றன.

நம் தெய்வீக பரிசுகளைப் பகிர்ந்து கொள்ளவும், தாராளமாக வழங்குவதைத் தொடரவும், நமது சமூகங்களை வளப்படுத்தும் தன்னலமற்ற உணர்வை வெளிப்படுத்தவும் நாங்கள் ஊக்குவிக்கப்படுகிறோம்.

A clear manifestation of Allah's mercy is that He continues to feed us with the best of food despite our sins.

When Allah wants to protect you, He removes the means of sin. Like a mother will remove harms from the child's way.

This is the month of the Glorious Quran, thus it is only right that we learn and observe its rights during Ramadhan and forever thereafter.

People are listening about Deen, people are speaking about Deen. People want to see Deen.

Our job is not to find out why people are suffering; our duty is to help the creation of Allah Ta'ala.

There are some sins we are aware of, but there are many we are not aware of so read Astaghfirullah in abundance.

One great weakness today is we rely too much on the internet and we don't have to make effort - we don't travel in search of knowledge

We come to the masjid, park our bodies in the first row, but our hearts and minds are not in the masjid - they are roaming all over the world. That is not salaah.

Allah created the tongue for good things, to eat pure & halaal, and to recite the Quran.

We dirty our tongues with wrong words /speech.

May ALLAH ﷻ give us the understanding of what we read and practice upon it آمــــــــــين

ஹஜ்ரத் மௌலானா அப்துல் ஹமீத் இஷாக் சாஹேப் தாமத் பரகாதுஹூம் அவர்களின் செஹ்ரி நேரத்தில் அறிவுரைகள்

இந்த புனிதமான ரமலான் மாதத்தில் நரக நெருப்பில் இருந்து விடுதலை பெற்ற ஆறாம் நாள்

அல்லாஹ்வின் கருணையின் ஒரு தெளிவான வெளிப்பாடு என்னவென்றால், நாம் செய்த பாவங்கள் இருந்தபோதிலும் அவர் நமக்கு சிறந்த உணவைத் தொடர்ந்து அளித்து வருகிறார்.

அல்லாஹ் உங்களைப் பாதுகாக்க விரும்பினால், அவன் பாவத்தின் வழிகளை அகற்றுகிறான். தாயைப் போல குழந்தையின் வழியில் வரும் தீமைகளை நீக்குவாள்.

இது மகிமையான குர்ஆனின் மாதம், எனவே ரமழானிலும் அதன் பிறகும் என்றென்றும் அதன் உரிமைகளைக் கற்றுக்கொள்வதும் கடைப்பிடிப்பதும் மட்டுமே சரியானது.

மக்கள் தீனைப் பற்றி கேட்கிறார்கள், மக்கள் தீனைப் பற்றி பேசுகிறார்கள். மக்கள் தீனைப் பார்க்க விரும்புகிறார்கள்.

மக்கள் ஏன் கஷ்டப்படுகிறார்கள் என்பதைக் கண்டுபிடிப்பது எங்கள் வேலை அல்ல; அல்லாஹ்வின் படைப்பிற்கு உதவுவது நமது கடமை.

சில பாவங்கள் நமக்குத் தெரியும், ஆனால் நமக்குத் தெரியாத பல பாவங்கள் உள்ளன, எனவே அஸ்தக்ஃபிருல்லாஹ்வை மிகுதியாகப் படியுங்கள்.

இன்றைக்கு ஒரு பெரிய பலவீனம் என்னவென்றால், நாம் இணையத்தை அதிகமாக நம்பி இருக்கிறோம், முயற்சி செய்ய வேண்டியதில்லை - அறிவைத் தேடி நாம் பயணிக்கவில்லை.

நாம் மசூதிக்கு வருகிறோம், நம் உடலை முதல் வரிசையில் நிறுத்துகிறோம், ஆனால் நமது இதயமும் மனமும் மஸ்ஜிதில் இல்லை - அவை உலகம் முழுவதும் சுற்றித் திரிகின்றன. அது ஸலவாத் இல்லை.

அல்லாஹ் நாவை நல்ல விஷயங்களுக்காகவும், தூய்மையான & ஹலாலை உண்பதற்காகவும், குர்ஆனை ஓதுவதற்காகவும் படைத்தான்.

தவறான வார்த்தைகள்/பேச்சுகளால் நம் நாக்கை அழுக்காக்குகிறோம்.

அல்லாஹ் ﷻ நாம் எதைப் படிக்கிறோம் என்பதைப் புரிந்துகொண்டு அதை நடைமுறைப்படுத்துவானாக آمـــــــــــين

நாம் தேவனுடைய கற்பனைகளைக் கைக்கொள்வதே அவரிடத்தில் அன்புகூருவதாம்; அவருடைய கற்பனைகள் பாரமானவைகளுமல்ல.

என் அன்பு சகோதர சகோதரிகளே, கர்த்தரிடத்தில் அன்பு கூருகிறவர்களுக்கு தேவனுடைய கற்பனைகள் தேனிலும் தெளி தேனிலும் மதுரமானதும்,     ஆத்துமாவை  உயிர்ப்பிக்கிறதும்,     ஆறுதலையும் நம்பிக்கையும் ஊட்டுகிறதாகக் காணப்படுகிறது.  கர்த்தருடைய வேதத்தில் பிரியத்தை வைத்து,     இரவும் பகலும் தியானமாயிருக்கும் போது வேதவார்த்தைகள் நம்முடைய பாரங்களை நீக்குமே ஒழிய நமக்கு ஒருநாளும் பாரமாயிருப்பதில்லை. கர்த்தருடைய பிள்ளைகளே,     கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தைகள் என்பது உற்பத்தியாளருடைய கையேடு போன்றது.  அவைகளின்படி உங்கள்  வாழ்க்கையை நீங்கள் கட்டும்போது,     நீங்கள் ஆசீர்வாதமாய் காணப்படுவீர்கள்,     பாதுகாப்பாகக் காணப்படுவீர்கள். ஆகையால் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையை பாரமாகக் கருதாதபடிக்கு,     கர்த்தரில் அன்பு கூர்ந்து,     அவருடைய கற்பனைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளுங்கள். உங்கள் எதிர்காலம் ஆசீர்வாதமாகக் காணப்படும்.

Context: Poonkuzhali’s reaction to Arulmozhi mentioning her while talking to his “sister”.

The words that the Prince had spoken about the ‘boatwoman’ in the end awoke waves of desire in Poonkuzhali’s mind. She felt shy even looking at Vandiyathevan or the Prince. Hence, she gazed at the direction the boat was sailing in, paddling forth. The boat which had been heading towards the ship now changed its direction to the northwest.

Sincere and true intention to perform Hajj and Umrah for the Sake of Allah.

When a Muslim sincerely intends to perform Hajj and is unable to go for some reason, or doesn’t have the means to go, Allah (Ta’ala) will write the reward of a complete Hajj for him.

It has been narrated on the authority of RA, who said: “We were with the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam on an expedition. He Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: ‘There are some people in Madinah. They are with you whenever you cover a distance or cross a valley. They have been detained by illness.’ [Muslim no. 1911a]

In a version of the tradition narrated on the authority of A’mash (Rahimahullaah), we have the words: “They will share with you the reward (for Struggle).” [Muslim no. 1911b]

The Messenger of Allah Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said:

“The world is only for four persons: A servant whom Allah provides with wealth and knowledge, so he has Taqwa of his Rabb with it, nurtures the ties of kinship with it, and he knows that Allah has a right in it. So this is the most virtuous rank. And a servant whom Allah provides with knowledge, but He does not provide wealth. So he has a truthful intent, saying: “If I had wealth, then I would do the deeds of so-and-so with it.” He has his intention, so their rewards are the same. And a servant whom Allah provides with wealth, but He does not provide him with knowledge. [So he spends his wealth rashly without knowledge, nor having Taqwa of his Rabb, nor nurturing the ties of kinship. and he does not know that Allah has a right in it. So this is the most despicable rank. And a servant whom Allah does not provide with wealth nor knowledge, so he says: “If I had wealth, then I would do the deeds of so-and-so with it.” He has his intention, so their sin is the same.” [Sunan Al-Tirmidhi 2325; Sahih]

If you are truthful, and Allah (Ta’ala) knows if you are truthful in your request, then you will be given the full reward for the good deed.
