sloane wiped her eyes, as she looked up. klaus hargreeves came in to her room. she was trying to compose herself, but she couldn't. she felt as if she lost everything. first her team, which had beem the closest thing to a family she had. then she had fallen in love with luther, and he was now gone. luther's family was kind to her, but she felt they were only doing it out of pity. ❝i am sorry, i asked five to get you because, well i hear you can talk with the dead❞ she paused ❝if you happen to speak to luther, can you ask if he's found peace? i think i would feel better knowing that❞ she wasn't sure, but she wanted him to at least have that.

sloane had sent lurther out for a tree, diego and lila were getting some last minute decorations, and sloane had decided to start making cookies. vicktor had gone out for a bit, so she called down five. upon his sour look, she was shocked  ❝what? you don’t like christmas cookies?!? that’s one of my favorite parts! i love the sugar cookie cut outs. and decorating them. come on five, where’s your holiday spirit? its our first holiday as a blended family. i want us to make memories.❞

❝violence is not the answer!❞ sloane had heard the comment about her brother in law viktor. it disgusted her that people in 2019 was still transphobic. no one deserved to be treated like that especially her new brother in law. he was twice the man as these terrible disguting men.  ❝i will let you down if you walk away❞ she told him ❝do i think they should have said that? no! but when you beat a transphobe it makes them more transphobic. you have to learn to pick your battles❞ she wanted to take them down herself but knew it wouldn’t do anything but possibly put a target on viktors back if they saw him again. she knew five’s heart was in the right place.

2 weeks it had been, sloane realized, 14 days since lurther died. she wasn’t stupid. of course she hadn’t known him that long, but the two bonded and connected in a way she never thought she would ever connect with anyone. she loved him, and he loved her. no one, not even the sparrows had known her and loved her the way luther did. now he was gone. his siblings were mourning him, but she felt as if she was just an interloper, they were only being kind because she had no one else. finally, luther’s brother viktor, came in. as he was entering her room, she simply said ❝usually never cry at all, i would say I'm pretty tough,but it's been a couple weeks now and I still feel stuck in my lungs❞ she was holding back tears again. ​
