Alastor rolls his magical eye at Sirius. “I think I’m hilarious,” he says dryly. He’s nervous, really, but he doesn’t want to admit that. He doesn’t want to say it out loud that this mission is scaring the fuck out of him.

He scoffs. 

“He’s a shit, but he’s not going to mess this up,” he says. “And if he tries, then I’ll knock him off his broom. It’s gonna’ be fine. Don’t tell people that.”
