Who needed sleep? Not Donnie that is for sure as he was hunched over one of his many workstations a scattering of multiple projects he was bouncing back and forth between. One of his more current ones had his full attention now that he had some of the parts he was in dire need off. Luckily he and Micheal were able to get thier hands on it on thier last junkyard visit. Hands rubbed against each other as he happily looked over everything mentally sorting it. He was savoring it this was a project he had been in the middle of for months. MONTHS! so he was going to savory every last second he could. "Doooooooooonnnnnniiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeee!"

"oh for fucks sake not now NARDO! I am busy I do not have time to deal with you nor do I want to deal with you. I am busy creating a full-on masterpiece as we speak!" Donnie goes on to proclaim staring up to the ceiling above him hands held out into the air as if he could physically hold the finished result of his hard work now. He had it in plain sight he just needed to focus and get to work. And that meant ignoring his stupid twin. Easier said than done when they suddenly had flopped themselves over onto Donnie's lap. His manic smile faded the second he felt the weight on his legs. Hand moved to lift his goggles back up to sit on the top of his head, as he lowered his head to look down at them. Beak hanging and brow furrowed Leo beaten his record on how quick it took them to annoy Donnie right now as he folded his arms over his plastron eyeing the idiot on his lap. "LEO-NAR-DO." he said it slowly letting his tone carry out as he called out thier name it was meant to sever as the only warning aimed at the red slider now. "Get off before I restore to drastic-" he trailed off in his threat only really now looking over his twin brother. Quaking his beak as he reached back up to lower his goggles over his eyes looking them over a moment.

"Don't move me, I might puke if you do." Donnie sighed, google slipped back up to the top of his head as he went to rub at his forehead pining the space between his eyes. No longer just annoyed at the moment. "You reek how much did you even have?" he starts to ask, now understanding Leo's current state the idiot was drunk. "Who was on Leo duty tonight? clearly, the chat got ignored again." He complains a bit was there a babysit Leo chart? Maybe. Look this idiot couldn't be trusted alone and clearly, this was why they had said chart. A long draw out-breath of air was given as Donnie leaned back in his chair

"SIGHHHHHHHHH" he said out of frustration. He did still set a hand on Leo's arm and gave a push to knock them off his lap, look if they were going to puke he rather it be on the floor. Pushing against the edge of the table to send himself back a bit before he stood up out of the possible splash zone from Leo likely unchecking now from that.

"Do you have any idea how long I've waited to work on this?" he asks before letting a metal arm come out from his techno shell to tentatively try and roll Leo onto his side. "You have got to be the BIGGEST DUMB ASS!" He yelled out now "WHAT THE FACT LEONARDO!" he huffs out his arms flying into the air as he goes and yells at them "Look at yourself you fucking idiot! you're lucky you got home who the fuck gave you alcohol and why the fuck did you think it was a good idea? Oh I know because you a stupid idiot that's why! Anything could have been in there Stupid!" He groans and slowly moves in closer to them arm lifted as he holds it up over his brother googles put back over his eyes once more "hmm seems safe enough just had to much" Rolling his eyes as he took the risk and moved in to try and help them on to thier shell. "Stay here I'll go see what I can offer for a hangover cure. And see what we have for your queasiness."

Donatello began with attention set to his workbench as he moved his head well and repeated the questions. mentally turning it over in his mind. He takes a pause so he can look around for a moment. Furrowing his brow as he thought a bit more "I think he is brash, impatient, and overly confident in himself!" The soft shell didn't need to yell it was more setting some bait in case his twin was around at all. Unless they were expecting him to think that way? "He's also annoying, and has the worse polish of his techniques, any skill he claims is all dumb luck. He has plenty of the dumb part." hmm still nothing? one last test "Leonardo also is a big jerk, he's always touching my stuff and messing with me. He knows I'm vastly superior to him so he just has to pick fights I guess." okay coast had to be clear if he ain't hearing a single thing from them right?

"Alright I can answer far more serious now, look Leo and I well we don't always get along. The number of times he has pushed or thrown stuff at each other should be more than enough to prove that point. His dumb constant remarks and 'catch phases' his attention seeking" as if Don was anyone to talk about that, he was just if not worse when it came to seeking validation in his own right after all, "Oh and don't get me started on his poor use of his mystic weapon. He never plans! He just jumps head first and yells 'yolo' thinking he's invincible or something well he isn't! It may take a lot to break a turtle's shell but if you always openly jump in to give that a chance? the odds go up oh but if you point out the possible risk of getting hurt Leo's just 'oh don't sweat it, bro, I got this' yeah well what about the time he doesn't get it? what then?!" despite his rant it was clear there was generally worry and concern throughout his rantings. He sighs and sets his fingers to the side of his head slightly rubbing them in against the temples of his head. "Thing is though when Leo isn't being a show off he's actually pretty incredible, oh no gasp, A actual compliment" Donnies goes to say as he sets his hands to his face mouth wide to express shock over it before he dropped it and crosses his arms over his plastron. "When Leo uses that brain of his he can plan out steps so far ahead it's well impressive. he seems to even have near scary trust in what each of us is able to do that he can predict our responses to certain situations. Raph was always a good leader he looked out for us and covered our backs don't get me wrong...but I think I understand dad's reasoning behind picking Leonardo as a leader." Quirking his beak as he lets his gaze drop to the floor.

"Yeah Leo annoys me and we fight but at the same time? I don't maybe it's the twin's thing." he shrugs his shoulders up trying to find the right way to word it. "I'd be lost without any of my brothers without Leo though? I don't know. He razzes me up and gets my competitive side out mostly I just wanna shut him up because oh getting a win over him feels so good! watch his smug face twist into annoyance? Princeless! Oh boy yes!" he laughs a bit letting it cool down after some time. "But even if we fight and try to get at each other we're brothers at the end of the day. I trust Leo, I trust his judgment when he's being serious he's just far more emotional than me I guess. Still the dumbest of all my bros though."

Leo seemed to have one very special skill when it came to them, and that skill was he knew how to piss off his twin in less then three seconds. Sometimes just standing in the same room breathing the same air as Donatello was simply could be enough for the soft shell to suddenly feel like he was on edge around them. Leo seemed so very aware of how much he annoyed Donnie on top it there was no way they weren’t doing most of it on purpose after all. Leo was just such a PEST! But that wasn’t the issue right now least it shouldn’t be Donnie thought as he got himself to move put of bis seat.

Always hard after he had settled back into his lab after escaping from Leo and thier damn need for attention they had two other brother he could annoy so why couldn’t he leave him be jeez. Sighing as he took a moment to soak in the stillness of his lab. Already feeling the effect of peace and quite, dreading thar he was about to have to leave what was his sanctuary, well not really Leo broke here a lot too.

"Sigh" forcing himself up finally to brave whatever stupid thing he was bond to walk into. Geet to the floor as he began to make his way out "I'll return soon!" He yelled out to his lab before stepping out he needed ti move around a bit get the mind working by getting a chance in scenery not to mention he was drawing blanks well trying to get working on stuff he simply just needed to move around oddly enough his hectic family often sparked ideas by well being thier hectic selfs..so it was sometimes worth stepping out.

Thiugh finding pillow all over was a surpise? Till he eyed his twin "oh that explains it. Leo rhough I already have a feeling I know the answer but what is this?"

"I knew I should have bothered asking, Narndo your such a child is there really any reason you need to go and set all this up for some." He started to ramble and rant on throwing out what ever came to mind to say in this moment to his twin, dipping down a quick second to check over the pillows near him. Where did Leo even get all of these? Till he found one that was prettt firm and dense. Plucking it from place as he made his way over towards them now still going on about how Leo was wasting all his time with all these stupid childless clear calls for attetion and how he shoild have out grown that all by now. Till he finally got close enough to them though?

He gripped the pillow he picked up tightly in his fringers. "Slam in thar smug face!" He interrupts him when he suddenly yells, smacking the pillow into Leo's face with as much force as he could. Smiling sastfied "oh you have no idea how much I've been wanting to hit you today." He chimes a little, happily smiling and spelling his own doom for sure, but hey he got the first hit in.

Emotions were not his strong suit he was the first to admit that his family understood and got it as well. Yet, he didn't know how to explain the feelings that tried inside him now when he thought about the turtle girl he found. His mind was normally focused on the wonder that is science but now? sometimes a little smile from her creeps into his thoughts. When Usagi comes around he wonders if she is there too. He even tags along with Leo to the Hidden City even just for the excuse. A chance to see her. It was odd but he couldn't help it. Just like he could help the annoyance in him now look at his twin's stupid smug face right now. He and the rabbit had been oddly close it seems. well everyone was pretty set on the fact Leo and Usagi were dating since day one the two of them though? seemed to need more time to figure it out. Dumb dumb dummy dumb dumbs, Don thought to himself. Was he any better off though? As much as felt superior in all fields.. this? was not one of them. Watching Leonardo with Usagi as they were talking, how many times did those idiots say goodbye now? He grew more impatience arms crossed over his plastron huffing out as he rolled his eyes and groaned "OH would just KISS him good night and call it night already! I got things to do Leo!" He yelled out finally. At least it got Leo to move finally! Donatell thought rolling his eyes and casting his gaze to some stain on the street. Before Leo rejoined him, slicing the air for a portal. Don still ignoring them right now quirking his lip. It was so easy for Leo wasn't it? So lost in thought he didn't notice his brother till they spoke up. "What'samatter, D? Jealous~?"

"Jealous of what exactly?" He snapped in defense "Of mister, I can't say a single thing right around the rabbit guy I'm crushing on?" He went to throw out "or Mr.cornball that spouts out the lamest lines ever utter? you know dad was an actor right how can you spew that stuff?" quick to jump to the insults. "Scoff and okay yeah maybe a little alright is that what you want to hear? then here you go I am jealous which is a shock because for once I am of you! when it should clearly be the other way around." He huff a little at the end there

He slumps a bit eyeing them now "how do you do it?" he asked tilting his head a little "you know the whole thing. You get him to laugh at your jokes and you not funny. I don't...think I can do that." he admits a little, was Leo the right person to be talking to about this right now? maybe not..they might mock him for having a crush himself he didn't think he was obvious but eh family can notice stuff he guesses. "You act like an idiot around the rabbit and yet..." Donnie was trying to find his words well lost in his own thoughts. Groaning "just forgot it and don't tell anyone what I said I lied I do have recordings of you and I will use those recordings against you."

It has been some time since Leo just. Left them. Of course, there was worry and panic late nights spent tracking him down only to find that Leo wasn't in thier dimension at all. They thought maybe it was an accident, he was an idiot after all how many times had he fucked up with his stupid portals before? Leo left them and took off. Well, fine they didn't need Leo anyway! Far as Don was concerned. Raphael was thier leader before and he was able to pick back up from where he left. Who needed a leader that would just leave them. Who needed a brother that wouldn't even tell them what was going on. Who needs a twin. Not him as he busied himself with a new game. Despite how completely fine he was about it! Yeah everyone else was taking it hard Donnie decided to just get back to working on his tech and not as some sort of distraction as he worked through his emotions over Leo's utter betrayal. No not at all he was so over it heck he forgot all about his brother even. Who was Leo there was never a Leo at all he was the only middle child of the family just him and his TWO brothers. So if that was all the case why did he freeze the second he heard thier voice?

"Hey, long time no see, dork of ages."

For a moment Donatello thought he was making it up, maybe he accidentally hit one of his recordings? looked around to double check but tried eyes happen to capture the figure in the corner of his view. Slightly startled as he jumped out from his chair finding "Leonardo?" he said questioning it but then again only they would call him something like that. So then they were here? physically here part of Don wanted to latch himself on to his brother, another to yell for scaring him as if they never left in the first place. And that thought alone was why he stepped back further keeping space between them and narrowing his drawn-on eyebrows over at them. So much for being ver it everything was rushing back as he looked at his twin.

Turning away to keep as disinterested as possible "Oh so what finally decided we worth coming back to uh? or did you just run out of places to run away to?" he didn't care how it sounded when he said it, if anything he was hoping it would affect Leo. Arms crossing over his plastron "what you think you can just leave and come back like nothing happened and I'll welcome you with open arms? Just all FORGIVE and FORGOT? Well guess what Leonardo!" pointing a finger thier way as he tried to cover the crack in his voice. "I don't and I won't! Do you have any idea how much of my precious time was wasted looking for you? I didn't even want to!" that was a lie "Mikey and Raph though? Dad, even they were so upset so I just tagged along to help. Don't know why we bother you clearly didn't want to be found after all." he huffed a bit as he spoke, going back to crossing his arms over his chest "Why you even bother coming back now?" "Was nearly dying on us just so much fun you had to go and leave!" He paused, eyes widening a moment "oh.. I wasn't supposed to say that."

| Muse Interaction Donnie was glued to his own business, messing with the circuit board, goggles on over his eyes so to avoid the chances of the sparks hitting his eyes. Wouldn't want to lose his sight or mess it up after all. His hearing on the other hand? That would be fine to take a hit on. With Leo going on and on right now. Normally he could tune it out and get lost in his own thing, but not with how much they had been going off about this now.

"Oh what's this?" he stated lifting up his arm as if he were using the device on it to scan Leo, "Oh no look at this the levels are saying that you Nardo are 100% JEALOUS." Smirking a little "it does say that by the way, your oxytocin hormone is working a lot. So is your street hormone, blood pressure, and heart rate." the data being stated in case Leo tried to deny it. Donnie moved to stand up and shove the screen in thier face now "in other words Leonardo is a jealous petty mutant right now. So now I have to ask." Smirking brightly recalling how Leo did the same to him before. "What's the matter L? Jealous of your honey buns' past romantic history!" He was eating the moment up "Oh you should see your face right now, oh wait!" trying to copy how Leo was pouting himself now before smiling again "Ha" leaning back into his seat again clearly happy with himself right now.
