"So that's Walter, huh?" she drawls, an emphasis on the name of the man she had watched embrace Misty. He even looks like a nerd, but she doesn't point that out. Some things are too obvious to bother with. "What's he doing here, Misty? What happened to keeping this all between us?" There is a slight accusation in her tone, but when it comes to Misty, she can never be too careful. "Pretty convenient for your knight in shining armor to come around with a perfect solution, well except for, you know," she smirks, gesturing to herself.

A low blow? Maybe, but they were Nat's specialty. Observing just enough to be able to slip a knife through a person's ribs to watch them squirm. If they hate her then it means they can't love her, and if they can't love her, then it won't be devastating when they push her away. "What else did you tell him?"

"Of all the fucked up little things your mind could have come up with and that's the best you can do?" she scoffs, not even bothering to look over at Misty. She knew that even just laying eyes on the blonde pain in her ass before she had any coffee would be a mistake. Just because Misty had said coffee in a carrier waiting for Natalie when she came to pick her up, didn't mean she actually wanted to kiss her. That was a perfectly normal phrase that people used all the time.

"Shut up and move over. I'm driving," she grumbled as she swiped the cardboard cup of coffee out of Misty's hand and walked over to the driver's side. She took a moment to take a long sip, and then one more because she needed the caffeine to deal with Misty Quigley's ass this early in the morning. "Remind me to tell Shauna not to call her fucking 'book club' at the ass crack of dawn next time. Like who the fuck does she think she is? People have to sleep you know."
