some fun stats as I crunch numbers:

this form got 213 submissions from 74-76 distinct source materials (depending how you count prequels/sequels and workshops that are very different to final products) and 129-131 distinct characters (again, depending if some character iterations count as the same person).

the most submitted show was great comet, with 10 entries split among 5 characters. there's a 3-way tie for the most submitted character, with the dj from don't stop me, the phantom from phantom of the opera, and shakespeare from something rotten getting six submissions a piece, and a 2-way tie for second, with the emcee from cabaret and sweeney from sweeney todd each getting 5.
