And, no, this has absolutely nothing to do with his own lacking experience in that area—! (Or the worry that an attempt by his lonesome would not go . . . nearly as swimmingly.)

THE SIGHT THAT WOULD GREET HER this early morning was just what was needed to rouse her out of her drowsy daze. And while a teensy bit caught off guard, it was nonetheless a PLEASANT SURPRISE that they would already be off to such an early start on this rather SPECIAL DAY! And so, with her curiosity piqued (And with one last gentle rub to her sleep encrusted eyes), Itsuki would look between the young lawyer, and the numerous items placed upon the countertop itself with a slight tilt of her head.

With a smile already lighting up her face, it would be through her BUDDING POWERS OF DEDUCTION-- that she would already figure out just what @tenacquity had planned this morning for the two of them. Just SECONDS before he himself would affirm it, of course~

And so, even before he was done speaking, the young one was already bouncing on over, as she took her place by his side. Taking a better gander at the ingredients spread across the tabletop itself, before grinning brightly up at him when he had ended it off with the two best things!

Getting to decorate it, and of course-- getting to eat it together right after!

"Ahhhh ah'd love to, bro! Ehehe, looks like we'll be bakin' an' gettin' BREAKFAST ready, huh?"

A SUGAR-FILLED BREAKFAST that would ruin a normal person's appetite for rest of the day-- BUT HEEEEEY, it's her birthday! So just let her have this!

And, oh gosh, he had even gotten so, SO MANY CAKE DECORATIONS to choose from. So many fruits, candies, chocolates-- and in so many flavors and colors! It really was going to be a blast when the time came for them pretty up their shortcake together! She just knows that it was gonna turn out A-MA-ZING!

Though, as she would cast a brief glance over to the rather large pack of flour to the side, she couldn't help but wonder for a moment over how the poor bro had brought ALL OF THIS over by himself! After all, even if he had carried them all over here in bags, it would still be a struggle for one person alone to do so! And all of this was just for lil' ol her, too!

And while she did have a few things to do today, they could most certainly wait until later. The bro had already pretty much called FIRST DIBS, with his polite lil' invitation in baking this shortcake together. And NO WAY, NO HOW would she be so foolish enough to reject this fun opportunity to spend some time together with him! Why, she almost already wanted to kick her ALTERNATE SELF'S BUTT for even DARING to do such a thing! ... Wherever she may be.

As they would begin to set up the bowls and utensils, Itsuki couldn't help but point this out (Not yet knowing the simple truth of it being otherwise). Simply full of GROWING ADMIRATION for the smart young lawyer, as she believed then that he had other talents that she has yet to learn about.

It really was just so sweet that he didn't just remember her birthday, but was taking time out of his clearly busy schedule to spend it with her. And so, after at least pouring out the flour and sugar into separate bowls, Itsuki would gesture to Ryuu to lean down for a moment so that he was closer to her eye level. Going on her tippy toes, as she leaned up then to peck his cheek in gratitude.

he usually doesn't talk to me like that . concerning what he knows of him , jotaro had never been anything of a friendly or approachable person ——— sometimes ( oftentimes , even ) , he's unambiguously callous and rude , which should make him unlikeable & a thorn in kakyoin's side , considering he never handled the presence of people who exhibited similar behaviors with any extent of patience . however , the truth is that he's never met anyone quite like kujo jotaro ; though he's certainly encountered his fair share of mannerless bastards & faux - edgy scumfucks deep in the abyss of teen angst , kakyoin cannot rightfully view them in the same light as his friend . for all his flaws , jotaro has a pure heart ( i saw it that day he saved me , i haven't lost sight of it since ) , and though it doesn't excuse his crass tendencies , it allows kakyoin to be more understanding of them , to see through them as if he peers through the polished lens of a microscope bearing the true content of jotaro's core .

some people may feel so inclined to call that bias . given that he hadn't a single friend ( one that wasn't an extension of his own conscience , at least ) before they met , kakyoin really wouldn't concern himself with anyone else's single - sided opinion .

all of this considered , kakyoin knows the difference between standard jotaro shit - talking and something is actually wrong with him . the premier member of their coterie that tends to receive the worst of jotaro's discourtesy is his own grandfather , with whom they are currently attempting to reconnect , & at times polnareff , whose pea - sized brain could render even a saint ready to wrap their hands around his neck . figuratively or otherwise .

even if he can be understanding of jotaro's disposition , that doesn't equate with a willingness to put up with it .

finally unboxed the komeda coffee rement set that i bought last year!! it was a good idea to save it for chi's birthday. i wanted this year's birthday celebration to have a personal and cosy setting: nothing fancy or extravagant, just the two of us in our little world. i think this set-up worked pretty well to capture that feeling??

i also got a strawberry lemon meringue pie from windowsill pies to celebrate!! it must've gotten a little roughed up during transport bc idk why there's a bit of meringue missing on one end LOL. first time trying something from this shop and it's not bad?? but i wasn't expecting it to be dangerously sour. would be nice with some tea actually.

One of Khan's favorite colors is black - especially when it comes to clothing items and accessoires. It might be a remnant of his upbringing; He's always worn black and got comfortable with it, despite it being a part of his difficult past, yet he mostly just thinks that black looks cool on him and works best with how he perceives himself. Besides black, however, he also enjoys other (dark) colors on him - mostly dark gray or dark blue shades. That being said, he has other 'favorite colors' he simply likes to take in the sight of - like the evening sky with its purples, oranges and reds, or the bright blue sky during a sunny day.

Ever since coming to earth, Khan hasn't really been allowed to explore his surroundings too much - yet, because of a certain someone wanting to keep him alive and healthy, he was offered a wide array of foods, simply to try and figure out which would suit his needs and serve his body best. Yes, junk food was part of the selction; It was never offered to him from a 'real' fast food place, however, but Section 31's own canteen - regularly serving whoever worked there - did a rather good job in preparing most kinds of dishes. Khan ended up enjoying Pizza a lot; His favorite is the 'classic' one with pepperoni topping and cheese.

⛰️ - would your muse live in a remote location? If so, where?

Absolutely. With everything he's experienced in his life so far, he'd seek out a place that's a bit further away and surrounded by peace - perhaps somewhere within nature, close to a body of water where he could sit and just stare at the surface rippling away in the evening sky. It doesn't need to be earth, though - he's happy to be literally anywhere, any planet, as long as the air is breathable and the enviroment able to sustain life.

Khan usually takes showers, simply because taking a shower is quick and efficient. However, he's certainly not one to turn down a nice bath, especially when his body hurts and feels sore all over; He's only taken baths a few times in his life, and most of them after having suffered before (both physically and mentally) - but that's precisely why he's been enjoying them, as the hot water eases pain and helps relax his muscles. Vega is absolutely allowed to join him in both the shower or the bathtub - as both locations can be used for a lot of different purposes, after all... ;).

🏹 - does your muse have any cool hobbies or special skills?

He can solve a rubic's cube in a couple of seconds (lol). On a serious note - Khan doesn't really sing, but if he were to, he'd be a great singer. Due to his increased lung volume and the low tone of his voice, it sounds deep and full when he sings - especially since he's got an easy time striking the right note for whatever song he sings, and he's quick to take in lyrics and remember those effortlessly. Other than that, the only 'real' experience he has with hobbies / skills is that one single game he's been allowed to play back at his home planet - an incredibly difficult strategy game, meant to sharpen soldier's minds and prepare them for their education. His kin often plays those games in groups, especially while spending their (almost nonexistent) spare-time, as it is one of the rare things that allows them to have some fun and socialise with each other. The game is entirely randomized and based on both math and pure chance alone; A hologram of a rectangular prism constructed by cubes, lines, numbers and letters, the players have to defeat the computer-based antagonist acting against them by solving (and constructing) complex (alien)mathematical-experimental equations while also being forced to make quick decisions that leave them no time to think of a strategy. Many of those chance-based, randomized sessions cannot even be won by a living being, which is part of the experience. Yet, despite the fact that Khan always struggled with keeping up, having had to retake tests, being classified as 'below average' amongst his own species, he'd actually, surprisingly so, been known as one of the best players of that game.

Rising early one morning, Simba could make out various scents in the dining hall which meant it was breakfast time, and since cubs usually ate first in prides, that meant that first dibs applied here too in his mind.

Soon, he was on top of the table happily gnawing away at some sausages while a teacup had been overturned in the process of climbing up though to him that didn't matter much since he was just hungry for the most part. "This stuff is great!"

King Magnifico counted on a few things each morning.

A quiet, peaceful beginning to the day, more often than not spent reveling in his queen's company before obligations drew them apart. Oftentimes a cup of tea was an accompaniment, something to warm and fill their stomachs until any actual meal. By the time either of them headed to the dining hall, he was feeling awake, refreshed, and more than ready to face whatever the day deemed fit to throw at him—

Some days were more... trying than others.

When he set foot through the doorway, he was given an immediate pause. First, at the sound of dishes clattering. Then, in a slow and inspecting venture of his gaze, the scene of spilled tea, overturned plates, and (oh, wouldn't you know it?) the lion cub contentedly chewing on what food suited him.

Magnifico, for a long, staggering moment, simply watched.

But then a sigh grated through his teeth, and while one hand pinched the bridge of his nose in exasperation, the other flicked to capture the animal in a wisp of magic. The invisible force snatched Simba up by the scruff, lifted him off the table—Magnifico needed only to jerk his fingers to summon him closer and look him in the eye.

“I see you've finally mastered the stairs,” he deadpanned. “Remind me exactly when I said this meal was yours?”
