Ik jake was introduced in rescuers down under mostly as an obstacle for bernards propsal to bianca but we dont give him enough credit for seeing bianca & immediately thinking shes an angel from on high.

#and also the fact that he didnt outright hit on her till bianca said that she & bernard werent married #sorry i rewatched rescuers 2 & remembered why jake was my bias as a kid #the fact that they went to the effort of making him a spinifex hopping mouse too #& to that point aside from his tail being tufted hes actually also taller bcs his legs are longer #like hes the only spinifex mouse in the whole francihise #we even see a mouse hospital in the middle of the outback but all of them are regular mice. #rescuers down under
