I have been off the grid a bit so, I have just only realised that I hit 1000 followers. When I started this blog, I didn’t think it could happen, but here we are and I’m just gobsmacked. I couldn’t be happier right now. You people really do make this site a better place and all the support I have received from you is something I will never forget. ^^

As a celebration I decided to do a writing challenge. If you are a new writer, a veteran writer, an occasional writer, a frequent writer, it doesn’t matter. Anyone can join. I just want you to have fun! :D

Rules:

You don’t have to follow me to participate, although it would be much appreciated.

Chose 1 trope and max. 2 prompts per person. Maximum 2 people per prompts. Tropes however are not limited. [See prompts and tropes after the keep reading line] Example; If you write for Arranged Marriage which starts off as Enemies to lovers, of course it is not an issue. Just tell me which trope will be your main point.

It’s not necessary for you to write only for the Harry Potter Universe, I read anything really; Marvel, DC, Supernatural, The 100, Shadowhunters, Maze Runner, Netflix series or novels etc.

You can use any pairings. It can be Character x Reader, Character x OC or Character x Character.

I do not accept incest! If you have incest in your fic, I will not repost it, nor if your story contains racial, religious or sexual hate openly, not related to the story line, but to hurt others.

You can write, fluff, angst, smut… almost anything really, just please use appropriate Warnings! If I read a fic and it doesn’t contain the right warnings, it will not be reposted unless corrected.

If your word counts are over 1k, please use the Keep reading feature, unless you post from the app.

There is no deadline, however later on I will have an end date for entering the challenge, but that’s for the future.

A/N: this is my first Oliver Wood fic. He’s actually quite difficult but yet easy to write since we don’t know much about him from the books or movies. I didn’t want to just include fluff so it gets a bit steamy towards the end. But anyways, I hope you guys like this xx

On a quiet Sunday evening, one could normally find Y/N in the Gryffindor common room. And that’s exactly where she was, sitting on a loveseat in front of the fireplace with her boyfriend of two years now, Oliver Wood. The Gryffindor room was almost empty, students finishing up the work that they refused to do throughout the weekend last minute in the library. Y/N sat with her elbow leaning on the back of the loveseat, resting her head on it as she listened to Oliver talk about his plans for the upcoming, highly anticipated Gryffindor-Slytherin Quidditch match next weekend, nodding and inputting a few things to show she was listening. Ever since Malfoy faked his injury and used it to back Slytherin out of the match at the beginning of the term, leading to the tragic loss of Gryffindor against Hufflepuff, the Gryffindor team was even more determined to take them down. Tensions had been high in the corridors and classrooms for about a month now, hexes being thrown left and right, pranks being executed on the Slytherins - by the Weasley twins of course. The professors and prefects were having to put in quite the effort to make sure no one got injured.

“I don’t understand why you don’t want to go,” Sirius says, looking at you like a fool as he sits down opposite you for breakfast.

“Because, I have better things to do than get drunk with a bunch of people I don’t like,” You say, taking some fruit from the middle of the table, refusing to look at him.

“But you like me,” he replies, winking when you look up at him.

“Do I? Do you have proof?,” you challenge, cocking an eyebrow.

“I think that blush is proof enough, don’t you?” He smirks as your blush deepens into a dark crimson colour. Damn him. You can literally feel the heat radiating from your cheeks, all caused by the mere words of Sirius Black. How frustrating. You look away, and back to your fruit that seemed oddly unappealing now.

“Alright, well you like Remus and Lily, and they’re going,” Sirius adds, knowing you couldn’t refute that.
