The best time for new beginnings is now. Start where you are. With what you have. Don’t wait. Start today..start now. This new beginning started as a small idea back in October 2020. My wife had this crazy idea that I should quit my 9-5, invest fully into us & pursue entrepreneurship full time. 🤯🤯 Is she out of her mind? We have 2 young kids, 2 small dogs, multiple properties & plenty of obligations & people that depend on us...except what if she’s right? Maybe it’s a good idea? What if I DO bet on myself, my family, my dream.. full-time? That’s how it started. A small, crazy idea that grew. We created a plan. Put it down on paper. Printed it out and put it on our living room wall with a target date.... Put the plan into motion....7 months later here we are. I’ve been full time entrepreneur for 1 month now. I gave my final notice to my 9-5 on April 5th 2020 and went full time entrepreneur with my family May 1st 2021. It’s a wild ride..there’s so much more to share. So much more I want to show everyone. Home is defined as the physical location of where you live. For me home is something more. It’s also a place that has your heart. A place where you’ve spent your formative years learning, growing, failing, and trying again. NYC Spanish Harlem is my home. A place that permeates every part of me. What a blessed weekend. One thing I learned in 2020 is that my family can worship and have fellowship anywhere!!! For example on our trip from poconos back to Delaware, we tuned into @elevationchurch and what a powerful message pastor @stevenfurtick had on not letting our worst moments define our relationship with god - there are times when we desperately call on god and for reasons beyond our comprehension, things don’t turn out how we wanted. But at same time, as a people there are times we all experience that are not our proudest moments. Yet when we think about both scenarios - god has always been there. Our family held strong in isolation/quarantine for literally over a year — no travel, min interaction with family, and coming up with non-traditional and creative ways to stay busy and engaged at home! After a year we understand a little better the pandemic that has changed our lives forever, and have practiced healthy behaviors like social distancing, mask wearing, and hand hygiene.
