Me Day: a feel good project

I was inspired by a friend who was having a bad day and also me who has just been stressed from school the past few days! Hopes this helps a few people out!

Rules: -unplug to connect… Aka no electronics unless the instructions say so so that u get the full experience -store your thoughts in a box for the day… Aka don’t think about anything that will stress u out so that u have room to think -download VSCO cam and use the journal feature to record your day so u can look back at the end of the day or any day! This should be one of the only exceptions to use your phone!! -bring your phone, sticky notes, a pen, money, bus tickets if u have them, paper, stamps, envelopes

The journey begins

0) give yourself a makeover or just glam yourself a little up so you feel confident and a tad bit sexy… You don’t to go over board with that loooool

1) stroll in the park! Or just get outside, whether u go to the park or take a bus to a mall… But no music! Just walk and enjoy nature! Look at the sky, the trees, the buildings, the people! When was the last time you did that?

2) buy yourself a treat! It can be something you’ve been craving like a cupcake or an item you’ve been eyeing! Don’t feel guilty about it!

3) take out those sticky notes and pen cause now is the time to use them! Go leave little notes of encouragements wherever u are! It can brighten someone’s day :)

4) like I said before, no tech! So let’s communicate the old fashion way- with letters! Write yourself a letter of encouragement so that your future self can have a reason to smile if they are having a bad day! Write a friend a letter! Basically just go a write someone a letter! Don’t forget to mail it with your envelopes and stamps!

5) de clutter your life! And by life I mean room! Look through your closet or makeup or whatever and see if there’s anything that should be throw out or given away! Trust me when I say you’ll feel good after!

6) dance partyyyyy!!! Second reason for tech!! Unless u have a radio.. Then use the radio…. Anyways turn on some music and just jam! Sing into a hair brush! Play some air instrument! Just have fun!

7) spa time! Spas are espensive tho so let’s have one ourselves! Take a nice warm bath, put on a mask, do your nails, etc…

8) binge watch your favourite movies or shows or dramas while wrapped in a warm blanket with some hot coco or popcorn… Always a good idea :3

9) make some diys! They are so fun and they bring out your creative side! Everything’s a little more special when it’s handmade! A touch of personality 👌🏻

At the end of the day, you are your longest relationship. Make yourself a priority.
