She was relishing every moment of this, her grand adventures with The Doctor. Perhaps one day someone would write a book about it, perhaps she'd even be the one to write it! Sylvie nodded eagerly,

A smile tugs at the Time Lord's lips when Miss Sweet entangles her arm with theirs, listening closely to what she tells them. "You know, he very well might be." The smile all too easily turns into a grin. "So many stories have elements of truth. A turtle shell for a disguise is a little bit far fetched unless...Did he seem a little unearthly to you?"

Alright. So he was definitely a mad man. No matter, Amma had always said it was good to be good to strangers, you never knew what hardships they may have suffered throughout their lives and if you could ease their burdens for a day, even for just a second, then you had made the world a brighter place. So, she would smile and simply pop inside this box for a second or two, compliment him on the decor, nod and agree to everything he said and then she'd be heading back to London first chance that she got. Perhaps Lord Salter was right after all, a position as a ladies companion was exactly where she should be.

❝ How wonderful. She truly is a delightful shi... ❞ She cut off abruptly, for once he had thrown open the doors, the view through them had rendered her speechless. The box did not end where it should, in fact, she couldn't see an end to it all, the space beyond seemed to extend on forever, and through those doors she could see a rather lovely, if odd looking lounge. Suddenly she was very enthused indeed. Mad man he may be, but a brilliant one at that. She couldn't help but give him a round of applause. ❝ Oh, oh! yes I see now. Doctor is your stage name! he might be a little absent-minded at the best of times but he isn't stupid. far from it, really. he knows disappointment, despair when he sees it. not the best of reactions to his wonderful home but he'll quickly change that, won't he? you can bet on it.

Oh but she was wonderful. Sylvie was more than a little intrigued by the mysterious woman who had just shown up and taken charge. She approached the TARDIS console hesitantly at River's behest, hovering on the spot for a moment, arms folded tightly against her chest. All of a sudden, without anyone touching it, the TARDIS scanner swung around, pausing inches from her face to show her the screen. Slyvie gave a small yelp, her mouth forming a perfect o before she clapped her hand against it. ❝ The Doctor said she had a mind of her own, I-I thought it was just a figure of speech. Is the machine, I mean to say, is she alive? ❞ 

"That's the attitude," River commended. She would have preferred a tad more enthusiasm. Either, the young woman was still settling in, or the Doctor needed to refine their speeches about embracing the unknown. Perhaps, both.

Smiling encouraging, she angled her head towards the other occupant of the TARDIS. "You don't need to stand all the way over there." River wasn't going to bite her. "Bit hard to see the scanner, if you ask me." I might need your help, Old Girl.
