How can I bring this up without seeming weird? 

Although our kink can seem extreme, there are some aspects of this dynamic that aren’t *as* taboo. 

Start out slowly instead of flat out saying you’re an abdl. Here’s how you can gauge your partners interest without mentioning diapers: 

I want to be treated like a baby Try saying something like this instead: “I’ve always been curious about power exchanges within bdsm like dom/sub stuff. The guidance, protection, training, and devotion is a turn on to me. What do you think about that?”

I want you to be forced in diapers. Talk about humiliation instead of going straight for diapers: “I’ve always wanted to try punishments in the bedroom like spanking. It turns me on. Would you be willing to try it?”

I want to take care of you like a baby Focus on the acts of service aspect of the dynamics instead of the objects themselves: “I would love to take care of you in special ways like cooking for you, cutting up your food, and cleaning up after you.”

I want you to dress up like a baby  Well yeah… if you say it like that of course your partner may instantly go to the pedophile zone. Word it like this: “I’ve always thought things like bows, pigtails, school girl skirts, and ruffled socks looked sexy. What do you think of that look?

“I want little space after sex.” After care is an important part of sex, especially within the realm of bdsm. Try explaining it to them simply: “after sex I would really love to be cuddled and given a stuffed animal because it makes me feel safe and happy.”

“I’ve always wanted a daddy to take care of me or a little to take care of.” It’s no secret that littles love their caretakers! This love is so powerful it’s almost to the point of worship. Try putting it like this: “I’ve always craved having a dom/submissive figure to be my whole world sexually.”
