How to be sustainable commuting?
Buy a second-hand bicycle and start using it to commute to work.
Take the stairs over the lift (This also doubles up as a leg workout).
Use public transport. It is also an excellent opportunity to catch up on reading and other things you couldn't do when driving.
Organise carpools to work, sports and events.
Sign up the Dublin Bike scheme for only 24 euro a year.
Ditch your car and embrace car free living.
But, if you're in the market for a new car, invest in electric-powered vehicles.
