As much as he enjoyed the liveliness of crowds, periods of silence like this were quite peaceful as well. He’d be lying if he said that he didn’t appreciate these moments of peace, where he could just sit in the branches of a tree, listening to the sound of the wind in the leaves, and watching the stars in the sky above.

Especially on nights like these, where the sky was clear, and he could see each and every point, twinkling in the heavens above.

Even without a few drinks, sights like that did help stir his muse. So, after a moment, he summoned his lyre and began to pluck at the strings, humming out a soft melody.

Though, he did stop again, lowering the lyre as he realized that he wasn’t alone… And he spoke with mild amusement in his voice. Of course, he knew that his following comments were likely to be false. But he proceeded anyways.

“Were you hoping to hear a bit of my newest song? I’m afraid it’s not done yet, but you won’t have to wait long.”

▌█ FAMILIARITY IS ONE THING, BUT you know for a fact who you are looking at in this tree right now. Act nice, you have no reason to start a pointless fight at such a moment, you are on the low ground anyways and, perhaps, the night sky would alright to watch for just a short while. He crosses his arms over his chest as he stares at the other, there is a temptation to fight so perhaps he has been spending to much time around tartaglia, what an annoyance.

       ❛❛ Oh please, don’t stop because of me, You can just pretend I’m not even here ❜❜ It would give him more time to scout out the area anyways. Hiding in trees, singing sounds and acting in the way Venti acts is something that Scaramouche can’t comprehend. Why would someone with so much power and such a title to them just act like a drunk idiot? It really is beneath him, though many of his more choice comments are kept to himself. Even he knows when to shut up around strangers, since blowing your cover over pointless things is just that, pointless.

▌█ IF THERE WAS EVER A moment that they hated more then anything, it was when they were visibly injured, but it’s not as if it is impossible to injury them, just difficult. It was frustrating though, frustrating beyond belief and there was an extra layer of frustration because of the younger man that seemed to think he had every right to try and help scaramouche to get patched up- Even going as far as pushing him over so that he would be less difficult. (Perhaps it really is for the best you keep him on the ground! That way you have the upper hand)

    ❛❛ If it would not be a nuisance, I would end you right now for that smug look on your face ❜❜ It’s hissed, anger and venom dripping from his words, but there is no real bite to them since he doesn’t struggle to get away or fight against the others care for his injuries. Even if it angers him to see Tartigalia look so smug, allowing himself to be injured is pointless - it would only be a means to his end if he went untreated, so being treated is beneficial in this case. His fate is for him to control and him earlier, so he isn’t going to let a few wounds take him out.
