backstory.

after graduating fifth in his class from harvard law, a young harvey specter quickly caught the attention of vought, who wasted no time in snatching him up.

for many years, he was their secret weapon, the best goddamn closer in the city ( it certainly helped that he had a bit of something extra in his blood as well ), but harvey was anything but naive when it came to the seedier underbelly of his employer. corruption was rampant at vought and harvey was privy to much of this information, years before the boys would come along to expose the company.

threats were made, blackmail was suggested, and harvey left soon after, eventually establishing his own firm to help fellow supes that had also been scorned by their maker.

he does want to bring down vought some day, but he's going to do it the way they'll least see coming, and they're going to regret the day they ever decided to hire him.

abilities.*

superhuman ‘charisma’ - while somewhat similar to cate dunlap's powers of persuasion, harvey's charisma is a less direct effect that still gives him a distinct advantage in the courtroom. people want to root for him, people want him to win. it's not known the direct source of this ability or how much influence harvey actually has over its effect, but it's often compared to that of pheromones.

superhuman strength, endurance, etc. ( the usual enhanced abilities that come with being a supe )
