SUPER CHEF KENNY - VEGAN SSJ DRAGON TACO
Hey ! Dragon logging in with my first actual blog post about what I made. Today’s special I will name “SSJ Dragon Taco"
Now, as you may or may not know, SSJ means Super Saiyan which is how I felt after I whipped this up and ate it feel me lol. This is something that I feel like Goku would eat 100 of in order to defeat Broly haha. It’s also pretty huge since its in a burrito wrap lol. I always fool around when I’m cooking since my roommate Mark and I usually have friends over but the Approx. cooking time is 30 minutes. If your rice is already premade even better because that’s what takes up most of the time anyway.
Anyway, without further a do (is that how you even write that down?) here is how you make this.
1. Set Your Tofu Up - Place your tofu in your tofu press and let it sit. If you do not have one then here’s how you can do it without. These things are so handy though. I’ll make a post on it later to explain it but they are usually self explanatory.
2. Set Your Rice Up - Place your rice into your pressure cooker. One and a half cups to each one cup of rice, usually you want to use a brown or wild rice because they are healthier for you than white. Although fairly simple you want to prep this and your tofu up first because these usually take longer than most stuff. The time estimate is around 15-20 minutes. If you do not have one make it stove top as you usually would. I honestly have not mastered the art yet but Google is your best friend.
3. Chop your veggies - I usually like to get whatever veggies or extras I’m going to use ready before I do anything so that it is out of the way. For today I only used red peppers, honestly only for a filler and color although they are very good. I did not add any seasoning, when I cook I usually don’t add anything but pinches of sea salt. I usually like them more when Mark uses them for a stir fry. Chop your pepper until you have the desired amount that you would want, this many feed three people. Make sure you curl your finger tips in when you chop or you may lose em haha.
3. Oil your pan / Cook tortilla - I recommend using either Olive oil or Safflower oil. Safflower oil heats faster though. To be honest, I usually guestimate how much oil is needed because I try to refill the pan as least as possible. You want to definitely let it heat at medium / high temperature before placing anything on the pan. When your oil is ready, you want to place in the pan on each side until you see the desired results. You don’t want to toast it so dark because you wont be able to bend it into taco form if you do, it also will taste a lot like the oil you used if you let it sit too long.
4. Cook your tofu - By now your rice and your tofu are probably done, if not sit back and relax. Maybe have a nice glass of wine, biodynamic preferably. Re-oil you pan also and let it sit until ready. Continuing on, take your tofu out of your press, slice into desired size and let em free into the oil. I usually add whatever sauce I’m using, in this case a stir fry sauce, after letting each side get a little heat so that the sauce doesn’t mix with whatever excess water or oil is in the pot. Since tofu is already made to eat most of the time, it doesn’t matter whether your preference is “under” fried or “over” fried. I like mine to be slightly on the softer side because it’s easier to eat and not as heavy.
5. OMG Plating Time !!! - Look at you, all hungry and ready to eat everything in sight, yup this is the big moment. Look at what you did in only about 20-25 minutes, made 3 tacos. Pat yourself on the back, you deserve a senzu bean haha. Take your desired amount of rice and place it in a straight line down the middle of the tortilla because you want to be as neat as possible, why? BECAUSE BEING NEAT IS NEAT !!! Haha. You want to do this with all of the ingredients you made because it helps with folding the actual tortilla and giving it a base so you can fold it easily. The white sauce there is a vegan tzatziki sauce that Mark made yesterday for our Gyros. Unfortunately I can’t share that recipe with you guys because I don’t have it lol!
6. COOK CHEF KNIFE EAT SWAG - You can just eat your pretty vegan heart out. You deserve it. Look at Mark just eating that beautiful SSJ Dragon taco he just plated all by himself like a big boy lol.

Also, I have a lot in the works for you guys and I’m dying my hair GREEN !!!!

Tempeh Smoked Bacon - again another replica of meat but made of legumes which are very good for you.
Bok Choy - rare, just rare.
Red Peppers - mainly for filler and color.
Cucumbers - yum.
I literally chopped everything, oiled the pan with safflower oil and basically stir fried it. No secret recipe here.

SUPERCHEFKENNY - SMOKED GRAPE FRIES !
What’s up peeps ? Dragon here.
Today I had an already peeled sweet potato in the refrigerator and I didn’t know what to do with it as a snack besides fries so that’s exactly what I did.
 Ingredients
 Sweet Potato
Grape seed oil. (You can use other oils but that’s what gives it the “grape” part of the name.)
Smoked Sea Salt. (You can use regular of course but that’s what gives it the “Smoke” part of the name")
Parsley
Cumin
Basil
Since I whipped this up pretty quick I didn’t do measurements.
I did however use my Power Level Scouter to sense when I was done putting everything on lol.
Judo Chop Sweet Potato - it’s exactly like what it sounds like. Take your Bushido Blade and chop the Sweet Potato in half. After that you want to continue cutting along the long side.
Preheat your oven to 425.
Mix your special herbs and spices - take your sweet potatoes and put them in either a zip lock bag or a container that you can put a lid on. After that, place about 2 tablespoons of oil on them, seal and shake (without spices). Open the lid, throw your spices as you wish and do it again.
Bake Taters - Now that your oven is already preheated, you’re ready to place your fries in the oven. When putting your fries on the sheet (preferably non stick parchment paper), make sure to place them in preferably a straight line because you’ll need to flip them 15 minutes in.
Let them bake in the oven for 15 minutes, have a glass of wine, flip on the other side, wait 15 minutes, hit a bowl and bam.
This was a quick snack for us, the sauce we used is Marks homemade vegan ranch sauce. This was a nice quick appetizer that took only about 30 minutes, 5 to prep and 30 to finish.

Hey so I don't actually know much about what veganism(?) entails as far as good restrictions go. My brother is a vegetarian so I'm quite familiar with that kinda lifestyle and diet, can you tell me a little about the vegan diet and lifestyle?
Well the vegan diet is no dairy no meat. Nothing that comes from animals. Some people often forget that people go vegan for a number of reasons. There are people that are animal lovers who refuse to eat an animal, people who by religion/practices can’t eat animals, and last but not least people like myself. I went vegan because I was overweight and I honestly just got tired of actually physically and mentally tired. I knew for sure that it was the food I was eating because I did some research on some of the stuff I was eating such as chips, fast food, and what I was drinking. I went a week cold turkey without eating meat or dairy and I’d already lost a bit of weight as well as feeling way better and less tired. So basically you feed your body greens and natural food products and you feel better. I cheated once by eating a steak at Peter Lugars because a friend of mine offered it but I was sick for literally a week. It wasn’t worth it, and from there I knew what was up. I feel 10x better than I did this time last year. It’s helped me mentally as well, I feel as if my thoughts are clearer and I’m not lazy like once was. I can go on and on lol.
Thanks ! usskenny

SUPERCHEFKENNY - HOW TO PREP TOFU WITH A TOFU PRESS !!!
Wassup ? Dragon here.
So for those who don’t know, tofu needs to be pressed in order for it to be cooked successfully otherwise it’ll be very watery. Also, when you cooked the tofu it’ll absorb all the flavor.
Slice the tofu packaging by the sides and press some of the water out as is.
Take the tofu and insert it into the center of the press
Twist the knobs to the right but do not completely lock it down.
You need to twist it about every 10-15 minutes gradually or it will completely break if you’re not careful.
 Enjoy !!!!

SUPERCHEFKENNY - EASY TASTY “EGG” TOFU SCRAMBLE !!!
 Wassup? Dragon here.
So I just taught you guys how to prep tofu, here’s how to make an “egg” scramble with tofu.
 Ingredients
Tofu
Mushrooms
Garlic
Basil
Onions
Tofurkey
Cumin
Turmeric
 Nutritional Yeast
Chop your veggies and tofu as you like, I would recommend chopping the tofu as small as possible to get better sizing and consistency on the scramble.
Oil your pan, I usually use safflower oil.
Toss everything in like a mad man.
Cook and scramble everything as you would a normal egg scramble until it’s cooked.
At the end add nutritional yeast. This is not the same as baking yeast, It adds the actual yellow color (if you need it, i usually don’t do it) as well as the turmeric.
 Enjoy !
