Itās okay wanting to leave. To quote the constitution we have the unalienable right to ā... life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.ā And itās okay to want to stop fighting. Nothing on a societal level is changed by individuals, society only changes when the majority of people inside want the change. I hope you and your SO find safety health and happiness for all of your days.
I'm sorry that it took so long for me to answer this but I just wanted to let you know that this message really touched me (which is why its been sitting in my inbox) and I appreciate you <3

being sexy literally has nothing to do with looks... you need to be a little bit weird and strange and unusual. people who are physically perfect by societal standards are not sexy like where's the flavour. the body hair. i'm right

I know Iām being an insufferable worldbuilding nerd here, but my basic metric for evaluating media with very inhuman protagonists is āhow easily can one offer a complete and coherent account of this mediaās plot without ever mentioning the fact that the protagonist is, for example, a talking car?ā. The harder it is, the higher it scores.

Iām so much more productive after the sun goes down. While the sun is up I feel the weight of having to do things and it just overwhelms me.
But when the sun has gone to bed suddenly my time is my own. I can do with it what I will and oftentimes that means the cleaning Iāve been meaning to do, the projects Iāve been putting off. They suddenly donāt seem overwhelming to me.
I like it when the sun goes down.
