But the fact stood — Gojo Satoru hadn’t done anything casual in his life, and for almost a year now Shoko was sure that Suguru would be it for him. Soulmates and destiny sound like a bunch of bullshit she doesn’t want to associate with even if it kills her, but looking at the two of them, powerful and leaning on each other without reservations? She had to admit they felt like they were meant to be. Star Plasma's mission felt like a catastrophe long before he returned with the girl’s body, she and Yaga-sensei both waiting for the other shoe to drop. They couldn’t be in the clear until they knew where Satoru – or his body – went. It felt like something bad was going to happen, a tsunami of unavoidable change washing over them. In a way, it did, but she was expecting to bury her classmate, not witness their trio shattering and the King of Curses vinded around him like a vine. And Shoko certainly didn’t expect to hear from Satoru that he has a home to buy for “his kids to live a better life”.

I do! itafushi is actually one of my fav jjk ships, the pining angst themes of eternal doomedism really sold me on this paring, which is kinda funny cause I remember how I told myself that I won’t care abt this ship cause “it looks too vanilla” but once I watched the anime… it was OVER for me maannnn... 👉 the moment that caused my downfall 

sukugo is fun! they’re definitely entertaining and their dynamic is something I could totally get behind. I really enjoyed seeing them just vibing together during their battle, but the moment that truly made me appreciate this paring, was actually... when gojo felt genuine empathy for sukuna. he felt sorry to him for not being able to go all out and take everything sukuna is the way sukuna was for him cause in gojo's eyes sukuna was not necessarily an evil monster or an enemy, but someone he could be wholly himself around and completely unrestrained. also, I find it quite touching how these two god like individuals, who don’t even see themselves as human anymore, were able to express some of their buried/lost humanity to each other… “I put everything I had into trying to reach him” and “you cleared my skies” honestly how could I not ship them?
